  • Patent number: 7110306
Abstract: A dual access DRAM includes first and second sets of data lines. By adding a second set of multiplexing transistors to data lines that are controlled with timing and addressing similar to an existing set of multiplexing transistors, data can be transferred to a second subarray by way of an additional set of data lines. The second set of data lines are additional internal read/write lines used in addition to the normal set of data lines. The second set of data lines are designed to have short lengths with correspondingly low capacitance so that additional loading on the sense amplifiers is small.

  • Patent number: 7104727
Abstract: In a pipeline system having a plurality of pipe segments joining a fluid supply tank to a fluid dispenser, the invention includes a pipe coupling assembly for use on at least one terminal end of a fluid transfer pipe, where the transfer pipe has an inner tubular member for transferring fluid and an outer tubular member and an interstitial space there between. The coupling assembly comprises a transition coupling for attachment to the pipe segment to provide a first path for the fluid in the inner tubular member and a second path for the interstitial space. The coupling assembly further comprises a transition tube assembly for attachment to the transition coupling to provide separate paths for the transfer fluid and the interstitial space, where the interstitial space provides a means for performing leak detection or fitting integrity tests during application of either a vacuum condition or pressurized gas input via such selective access.

  • Patent number: 7103774
Abstract: A system and method of relating a public key to a compact identification string in a digital certificate to enable an entity to construct a certificate chain from a root certificate authority to an end-entity efficiently and further allow a certificate holder to store only its identifier, thus providing privacy protection, and present this in place of a digital certificate for authentication rather than storing and presenting its certificate or a chain of certificates representing the certificate path up to the root certificate authority. In a preferred embodiment, the certificate authority generates unique identifier for each certificate consisting its pseudonym concatenated with the pseudonyms of other sub-certificate authorities in the certificate chain between it and the certificate holder, concatenated with certificate holder's pseudonym. The pseudonyms are generated by the entity known by the pseudonym or the entity certifying a binding between the pseudonym and the entity's public key.

  • Patent number: 7102421
Abstract: A voltage regulation scheme for an on-chip voltage generator includes a voltage sensing circuit (VSC) and a configurable buffer circuit (CBC) to regulate the on-chip voltage generator. The CBC generates an output signal that is received by the on-chip voltage generator to activate and de-activate the voltage generator. The VSC generates a voltage level detection (VLD) signal having a voltage level that is a function of the level of the on-chip generated voltage. The CBC receives a control signal that is used to dynamically configure the chip into an operational mode, as well as the VLD signal. In response to the control signal, the switch threshold of the CBC is configured to a predetermined level corresponding to the selected operational mode. The predetermined trip point causes the CBC to appropriately activate and de-activate the on-chip voltage generator to regulate the on-chip generated voltage at the level required by the configured operational mode.

  • Patent number: 7100935
Abstract: A improved detachable fifth wheel hitch device with a pivotal locking ramp, which replaces a supplied fifth wheel hitch plate device attached to a truck or pickup mounted fifth wheel hitch base, provides an extended collar hitch plate above a kingpin receiver channel incorporating a pivotal locking ramp directing a kingpin into the kingpin receiver channel, over the pivotal locking ramp during loading, the pivotal locking ramp returning to an erect position, blocking removal of the kingpin once past the pivotal locking ramp unless the kingpin is raised vertically out of the kingpin receiver channel, thus preventing unintentional release of the kingpin from the kingpin receiver channel during loading, unloading or transport.

  • Patent number: 7097433
Abstract: The fuel transfer pump is a combination suction and pressure pump in a manifold above the fuel storage tank. The fuel transfer pump is contained within a manifold. The pump is liquid cooled (more specifically, fuel cooled) and is located in a manifold above the fuel storage tank and not submerged inside the tank. The fuel transfer pump draws (using suction) the fuel up from the bottom of the tank though the pipe column into the manifold and then under pressure pumps it to one or more fueling dispensers.

  • Patent number: 7098277
Abstract: The present invention provides isotactic polypropylene compositions suitable for cast film applications, cast polypropylene films made therefrom, and processes for forming such films. The novel polypropylene films are formed from film resins having a melt flow ratio of from 6–15 dg/min, with a narrow molecular weight distribution, narrow composition distribution, low level of solvent extractables, and increased film clarity (i.e., decreased haze %) compared to prior art Ziegler-Natta polypropylene film resins. The polypropylene films can be cast from an extruded polypropylene polymer, the extruded isotactic polypropylene polymer being formed by polymerization with a fluorided silica supported catalyst.

  • Patent number: 7099234
Abstract: A low power Sleep Mode operation technique for dynamic random access (DRAM) devices and integrated circuit devices incorporating embedded DRAM. By counting clock (CLK) cycles in accordance with the technique disclosed, refresh time (tREF) does not vary with all possible process corners, voltages and temperatures (PVT) since the clock signal exhibits a steady frequency over PVT applied to the DRAM and an internal timer placed on chip will vary directly with these parameters. After entering Sleep Mode, the main internal clock signal is inhibited from propagating around the device chip and, at this time, much of the associated circuitry can be power-gated to conserve power, typically with signals that have a boosted level to provide a negative gate-to-source voltage (VGS) on the power-gating transistors.

  • Patent number: 7100064
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes at least a first fuse and at least a first processor. Each fuse is in either a conductive state or a non-conductive state. The first processor is configured to operate at one of at least a first issue rate or a second issue rate responsive to the state of the first fuse. The first issue rate is lower than the second issue rate. In another embodiment, the first processor is configured to execute fewer instructions in a period of time responsive to a first state of the conductive state or the non-conductive state of the first fuse than the first processor is configured to execute in the period of time responsive to a second state of the first fuse. A method includes: (i) determining if an integrated circuit comprising at least one processor has a performance rating that exceeds a government-imposed export restriction; and (ii) in response to the performance rating exceeding the export restriction, blowing at least one fuse on the integrated circuit.
