Abstract: A method for administering a driving test providing a mobile computing device in wireless communication with a test server initially receives from the test server a driving test, which includes a test route and test events along the test route. As the test vehicle is driven along the test route, whenever the current location of the test vehicle match the location coordinates of a test event, the mobile device outputs a description of the test event and captures input from the driving tester indicative of the test subject's performance on the test event. External black box data or video images may also be input to the mobile device. At the end of the test the captured input is uploaded to the test server for scoring.
