  • Publication number: 20130026429
Abstract: An apparatus and methods for pushing conductors into conduit and other structures are disclosed. The apparatus (“pusher”) can include rollers to apply a pushing force to one or more conductors or bundles of conductors. One or more rollers can be coupled to a drive mechanism. The pusher is configured to pull conductors or bundles of conductors off of one or more spools, and push the conductors or bundles of conductors without de-bundling or sorting the conductors. The conductors can be fed through the pusher in any format including side-by-side, vertical on top of one another, twisted together, or other formats. The pusher can include a guiding device that is configured to route the conductors from the pusher to a conduit through which the conductors are being pushed or pulled.

  • Patent number: 7948421
Abstract: An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is provided. The ADC includes a variable oscillator, a frequency divider, a clock circuit, and a counter. The variable oscillator is coupled to a sensor and configured to generate an oscillating signal based on a measurement generated by the sensor. The frequency divider is coupled to the variable oscillator and configured to divide a frequency of the oscillating signal. The clock circuit is configured to generate a clock signal at a defined frequency. The counter is coupled to the frequency divider and to the clock and is configured to generate a bit stream representative of a first number of periods of the clock signal during a second number of periods of the divided oscillating signal.

  • Publication number: 20090113852
Abstract: A device for deflecting a loose fill product from the seal zone of a bag and sealing the bag is provided. The device includes a product stopper. The product stopper is adjacent to the sealing element of a bagging machine. The product stopper includes a mount that mounts the product stopper to a bagging machine and a pinching element that pinches a bag proximal to a sealing zone before the bag is sealed by the sealing element at the sealing zone. In one embodiment, the pincher includes a spring loaded mechanism for pinching the bag proximal to the sealing zone. In another embodiment, the pincher includes an air assist mechanism for pinching the bag proximal to the sealing zone.

  • Publication number: 20040003507
Abstract: An electrician's conduit layout tool to facilitate placing conduit holes in electrical boxes wherein a small rectangular tool is provided having marking point for both sizes of strut, all parallel conduit marking locations in its peripheral edge and center marking locations for all conduit sizes on a one piece durable Tool. A three step method is used to layout any combination of conduits with no calculations. Is also used in strut rack layout parallel conduit marking locations in its peripheral edge. A panel schedule is also etched into the conduit layout tool for a wire-pulling guide. Lines are drawn through the center of the circumferential trace to facilitate the positioning of a conventional knockout.

  • Patent number: 6658012
Abstract: Counters are implemented within a bridge device so that adequate forwarding and transmission statistics can be monitored. The counting of frame discards as a result of ingress and egress rules implemented within the bridge are utilized within the IEEE 802.IQ VLAN bridge model to calculate the number of frames forwarded and the number of frames transmitted.
