  • Publication number: 20190376567
Abstract: A clutch system includes a clutch plate and a reservoir coupled with the clutch plate. The reservoir is configured to receive bailed excess fluid from the clutch upon rotation of the clutch plate. The clutch system also includes a hydraulic control valve fluidly coupled with the clutch plate and the reservoir. A first fluid flow path is defined between the reservoir and the clutch plate. Moreover, the hydraulic control valve includes an orifice fluidly coupled with the reservoir and a lube valve configured to move between a closed position and an open position. Additionally, a cavity is defined in the hydraulic control valve. Finally, the movement of the lube valve between the open position and the closed position is controlled using the fluid from the reservoir which flows though the orifice and into the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20190366945
Abstract: A cargo guard kit for protecting the cargo and the bed of a pickup truck includes protective pads. Each protective pad includes a flexible friction pad and at least one shielding strip. The flexible friction pad attaches the shielding strip to the contact point on the pickup truck. Similarly, the shielding strip protects the surface of the contact point. The flexible friction pad has a contact face and a fastening face. The at least one shielding strip is mounted onto the contact face. The fastening face is positioned facing opposite to the contact face and is designed to connect to the exterior surface of the pickup truck. The at least one shielding strip is mounted into the middle of the flexible friction pad. As such, the width of the flexible friction pad is greater than the width of the at least one shielding strip. In contrast, the length of the flexible friction pad is equal to the length of the shielding strip.

  • Patent number: 10260517
Abstract: A suction chamber for use in a horizontal fluid pumping system is supported by a fixed vertical bracket, which is attached to a platform. The suction chamber is positioned between a motor and a pump in the horizontal pumping system. The pumping system may also include a thrust bearing chamber positioned between the motor and the suction chamber. The pumping system may also include a bearing chamber adapter positioned between the thrust bearing chamber and the suction chamber. The suction chamber has a suction chamber pump end and a suction chamber motor end. The suction chamber enables both motor-end seal removal and pump-end seal removal. In both motor end seal removal and pump end seal removal, the suction chamber of the invention remains connected to the vertical bracket. The pumping system may also include an integrated lifting device connected to the vertical bracket to lift the thrust bearing assembly.

  • Patent number: 10097619
Abstract: Techniques for cross-device notifications are provided. An example method includes receiving a first indication of an event detected at a first device associated with a user account, determining one or more characteristics of the event based on the first indication of the event, detecting whether the determined characteristics match at least one selection criterion, automatically identifying a second device from one or more devices associated with the user account, and providing, if the determined characteristics match the at least one selection criterion, the first indication of the event to the second device associated with the user account, where the provided first indication of the event is displayed at the second device to allow management of the event at the first device from the second device.

  • Patent number: 9940298
Abstract: In a segmented data path, a source is able to “discover” whether any tunable repeater nodes are present. When one or more tunable repeaters are discovered, the source may adjust its link initialization sequence accordingly to train each “hop” individually and thereafter individually configure each intermediary repeater.

  • Publication number: 20170290608
Abstract: Translation screw assemblies that can include a screw, housing, load plate, and collet are described herein. The translation screw assembly advantageously allows for relative translation, angulation or pivoting, and/or rotation between the screw and the housing. Occipital plate assemblies are also described herein. An occipital plate assembly can include a plate body and one or more rod receiving assemblies. The plate assembly can include an occipital protuberance tab that can be bent relative to or sheared off from the plate body. The rod receiving assembly can include a pivot post, housing, clamp plate, and retaining washer. The rod-receiving assemblies advantageously allow for relative medial-lateral translation, medial-lateral angulation, and/or cranial-caudal angulation between the rod-receiving assemblies or portions thereof (e.g., the housings) and plate body.

  • Patent number: 9580869
Abstract: A process is disclosed for topically applying additive compositions to planar substrates, such as tissue webs. In one embodiment, the process is designed to apply relatively high viscous compositions to base sheets at high speeds in a manner that prevents the additive composition from penetrating into the sheet. The additive composition having the relatively high viscosity can be applied to the base sheet in one embodiment using an offset gravure printing process. The applicator roll includes a pattern of raised elements. The raised elements define a surface having at least one dimension that is less than 500 microns. The raised elements are also spaced closely together in order to prevent fiber buildup on the roll during relatively fast processing speeds.

  • Publication number: 20160045092
Abstract: A cleaning system has a suction source intaking air through an extractor hose with an opposite end at an intake vacuum head configured to remove material from a surface to be cleaned, so that the suction source draws air and the material in through it and through the hose. A hose cover around the extractor hose comprises an elongate piece of material with first and second lengthwise edges that each has a side of a zipper. The zipper sides co-act so as to releasably secure the edges together with the cover surrounding the extraction hose. The cover is of insulating material that protects a user from contact with the hose when hot and also prevents the hose from damaging nearby objects. multiple hose covers can be connected in sequence by male and female connecting ends to cover a lengthy hose.
