  • Publication number: 20070239115
Abstract: A syringe assembly is made from a co-extrusion of materials which allows a small volume of fluids or vacuum to be drawn when combined with a plunger. The co-extrusion allows the creation of a syringe assembly by extrusion allowing many varying lengths and sizes, as well as various vacuum ratios. The syringe allows deviations to the vacuum or volume of fluids with minor changes to the inner tubing member and will not change or distort the outer dimensions of the device. The syringe differs from traditional syringes in that it does not rely on exacting measurements to determine incremental movement of the plunger to determine volumes, and does not rely on the exacting conformity of such parts to determine volume. The syringe also differs from conventional syringes since conventional syringes are currently made by traditional molding techniques.

  • Publication number: 20070104801
Abstract: A fertility-enhancing supplement contains a balance of compositions and ingredients that will enhance the reproduction system in the female and male to help support conception, while also supporting the anti-aging of the reproductive system, taken in balance to aid in the uptake by the body of certain and particular compositions that are included in this invention. The supplement can include ingredients to assist the female reproductive system to conceive and in the male to aid in the production of more healthy sperm. Such ingredients as glucosamine sulfate are included separately or in conjunction to help the female reproductive system to maintain a youthfulness in the female and are important to the maintaining of the vitality of eggs and reducing the aging process in the development of fertilized eggs, embryos and facilitating the implantation of embryos.

  • Publication number: 20060217670
Abstract: An assembly for the drawing or dispensing of materials by utilizing a gear or gear system provides an ergonomically superior device. The gear system in the assembly may allow the assembly to dispense materials or create a vacuum for multiple tasks at the same time. The materials may be dispensed in various or different volumes simultaneously by the assembly. The assembly will also allow the creation of a vacuum and dispensing of fluids at the same time. The assembly will enable dispensing fluids in various ratios or creating a vacuum or pressure, or both simultaneously. The assembly results in a more ergonomically suitable syringe and/or dispenser for the user.

  • Publication number: 20060057713
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for making an incubator, as well as an incubator structure. The disclosed method includes molding a chamber body. The chamber body defines an interior and an opening to the interior, and a door is provided to selectively seal the opening to the interior. During the molding of the chamber body, a component is included in the chamber body. In a particular embodiment, the component may be a sensor, a bracket for receiving another part, a leg, an adaptor, a wire, a connector, a heating element, a window, a hinge, a label, indicia, or a gasket. Preferably, this method of creating a chamber involves rotational molding, although other methods of forming, such as stereolithography, are also possible as would be clear to one of ordinary skill in the art.

  • Publication number: 20050197526
Abstract: A catheter assembly for performing embryo implants in a female's uterus including an inner component having an echogenic soft distal tip for supporting the embryo to be implanted in the womb. A guide cannula receives the inner component which in combination with the rigid proximal portion facilitates insertion of the distal tip and embryo into the womb through the cervix. The guide cannula is a hollow tubular member attached to the hub, and a distal end which protects the embryo on the inner component during insertion. Markings indicate the position of the soft distal tip of the inner component with respect to the guide cannula as well as the overall length of the catheter assembly. During the implantation process, ultrasound imaging equipment is used to monitor the position of the echogenic distal tip.

  • Publication number: 20050019906
Abstract: A single culture media system is used to provide an optimal environment for the nutritional requirements for culturing of oocytes and embryos from the retrieval stage of oocytes through the implantation stage of embryos. This latter stage can be through the eight cell, or blastocyst, stage of development. The media of this invention will provide the embryos with a balance of ingredients that provide a consistent and stable composition of ingredients for the embryos whereby each embryo may select ingredients at their own pace or at various times as determined required by the embryos. This single media system provides a substantial improvement over current individual and sequential systems in supplying embryos consistent ingredients, consistent pH levels and osmolality through multiple stage of development so as to reduce the likelihood of osmonic shock, shock resulting from ingredient changes, or by changes in media pH.
