  • Publication number: 20250070710
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a large surface area solar energy generation apparatus and method that protects the solar system from meteorological or any other ambient threat and restores the solar system to operating condition once the threat has passed. The system is sufficiently large to cover parking lots and other large ground surface structures and offers double the conventional solar exposure surface area per supporting post. The apparatus generates more electricity with single axis and dual axis tracking. The apparatus is pre-assembled in a central production facility to avoid costly onsite construction and installed at the utilization site with minimal effort.

  • Publication number: 20120259678
Abstract: An Energy Index that combines a measure of enterprise energy efficiency and a measure of sufficiency into a single energy index that will enable establishment and achievement of both energy efficiency and sufficiency. Traditionally enterprises monitored energy efficiency without consideration of sufficiency resources. A new Index is described that enables to monitor the performance of the on-site energy generation resources (sufficiency resources) and their contribution to the economic performance of the enterprise.

  • Publication number: 20110197418
Abstract: Mounting system of solar panels (both photovoltaic and solar water heating) using cables and anchored to the sides of the building or to ground mounts is described. The mounting method does not require roof penetrations, minimizing potential for water leaks associated with roof penetrations. The mounting system allows for the panels to be mounted at different heights over the surface of the roof.

  • Publication number: 20110037602
Abstract: A tilt protection apparatus applied to electric energy generating installations, where possibility of tilting or tipping over exists. In certain installations of electric energy generating facilities, the means of energy production, such as but not limited to solar photovoltaic panels, must be mounted on support system that can be susceptible to mechanical failure due to impact, wind induced vibration, ground vibration or ground displacement. In the event of the structural tilt, the apparatus detects such condition and disconnects the means of energy generation minimizing possibility of exposure to dangerous levels of electric potential.
