  • Publication number: 20250070710
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a large surface area solar energy generation apparatus and method that protects the solar system from meteorological or any other ambient threat and restores the solar system to operating condition once the threat has passed. The system is sufficiently large to cover parking lots and other large ground surface structures and offers double the conventional solar exposure surface area per supporting post. The apparatus generates more electricity with single axis and dual axis tracking. The apparatus is pre-assembled in a central production facility to avoid costly onsite construction and installed at the utilization site with minimal effort.

  • Patent number: 12238081
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed in which an edge user computing device pre-processes a stream of user data prior to using the stream of data to train a machine learning model at the edge device. The edge device receives the stream of user data, where the stream of data includes a first set of characteristics associated with the edge device and a second set of characteristics associated with a plurality of user requests received from a user of the edge device. The edge device repeatedly generates, using the stream of data, sets of pre-processed user data by performing pre-processing techniques on characteristics included in the stream of data. The edge device repeatedly trains, using the sets of pre-processed data, a baseline model to generate a device-trained model, where the baseline model is trained at the edge device without providing user data included in the stream of data to a server computer system.

The conduit includes a closed sidewall surrounding a channel extending in a flow direction of the conduit. The closed sidewall is continuous from the delivery vessel to the inlet of the forming vessel to define a closed atmosphere from the delivery vessel, through the conduit, and through the inlet of the forming vessel. The glass manufacturing apparatus can include a heating enclosure including a heating wall and a first heating element. The heating wall surrounds a chamber within which the conduit extends. The first heating element is positioned within the chamber between the heating wall and the conduit to increase a temperature within the channel. Methods for manufacturing a glass ribbon with a glass manufacturing apparatus are provided.

  • Publication number: 20250056213
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for on-device data privacy operations to prevent data sharing at user locations. A service provider, such as a merchant location of a merchant and/or associated online transaction processor, may provide additional services for to users via user data that may be tracked or stored of the user. However, the user may not want to share certain data with the merchant or other backend processor for privacy concerns. Thus, on-device data privacy operations may be used to detect when a user is at a location that has a corresponding privacy setting to hide or abstract user data for the location. The privacy setting may designate data to prevent from sharing when the user uses their device with devices associated with the location. Abstracted data associated with recommendations or actions to provide the user may be generated and provided to a merchant for the location.

  • Publication number: 20250041152
Abstract: A method and device for mechanically stimulating the trabecular meshwork of an eye is disclosed. The device acts non-invasively to vibrate a closed eyelid on areas which are in close proximity to the trabecular meshwork, which is located in tissues below the closed eyelid. The vibration at the surface of the eyelid induces mechanical vibratory waves which conduct through the tissues of and around they eye, causing the movement and deformation of the trabecular meshwork. This action results in clearing the trabecular meshwork of substances, such as debris, which may accumulate in the open-cell pores of, and on the structural surfaces of, the trabecular meshwork. If not cleared, such substances debris can increase the resistance to the healthy outflow of fluid from the eye which elevates the intraocular pressure and can lead to serious health problems, especially glaucoma.

  • Patent number: 12219427
Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to systems and methods for generating and providing elevation-aware hotspots. In example embodiments, a network system detects an initiation of a request for a transportation service at a client device of a user and receives an indication of a location of the client device and corresponding signal strengths associated with the client device. The network system then determines a telematics vector based on the signal strengths associated with the client device. Based on the location of the client device and the telematics vector associated with the client device, the network system identifies one or more top ranked elevation-aware hotspots. A pickup point recommendation is then presented, by the network system on a user interface on the client device of the user, whereby the pickup point recommendation includes the one or more top ranked elevation-aware hotspots.

  • Patent number: 12205076
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide systems and methods to streamline the mechanism by which data users access differently regulated data through the use of one or more integrated identifiers. The integrated identifiers lessen or eliminate the need to separately maintain one set of identifiers for regulated data and another set for non-regulated data. The methods and systems may be applicable in various credit and healthcare contexts where regulations over data use are prevalent. In one or more embodiments, a data user receives a unique integrated identifier for each of the data user's current or prospective customers, and the integrated identifiers can be used to persistently identify and track the customers over time and across applications that access regulated and/or non-regulated data. In the healthcare context, a healthcare provider may utilize a patient ID as the integrated identifier. To protect privacy, the integrated identifier may not include social security numbers or birthdates.

  • Patent number: 12200174
Abstract: A sorter processes trading cards in an affordable, accurate, and easy-to-use manner. The sorter includes an input and output bin. A transport path moves cards between the bins and has two scan bars, one above and one below the path. The scan bars capture an image of a top and bottom surface of ones of the cards. A controller coordinates movement of the cards along the path and receives the image for processing. Users interact with the controller by way of an interface to influence the processing. The sorter also includes a coil to detect metal foil on the cards. Other embodiments are envisioned.

  • Patent number: 12173899
Abstract: A method and system for identifying combustion dynamics in a combustion chamber, includes an optical sensor that receives energy from a flame within the combustion chamber. A processor is configured to receive a first signal from the sensor indicative of energy at a first wavelength and a second signal indicative of energy at a second wavelength. The processor can generate a data set of combustion quality indicators from the first signal and the second signal. The processor can convert the data set of combustion quality indicators in a time domain to a combustion quality spectrum in a frequency domain. The processor can analyze the combustion quality spectrum to determine anomalies, wherein the anomalies indicate at least one frequency where combustion dynamics occur in the combustion chamber and output a signal indicative of the at least one frequency where combustion dynamics occur.

  • Publication number: 20240417950
Abstract: A controller for a work machine may cause increasing of an angle of a ground-engaging implement of the work machine while maintaining a distance between a trailing edge of the ground-engaging implement and a center line of the work machine. The controller may detect that the work machine has traveled a particular distance from a location of the work machine at a time of increasing of the angle of the ground-engaging implement. The controller for the work machine may cause the work machine to steer away from a windrow based on detecting that the work machine has traveled the particular distance.

  • Publication number: 20240384503
Abstract: A controller may obtain sensor data collected by one or more sensors of a work machine having a ground-engaging implement positionable at an angle that defines a leading edge and a trailing edge of the ground-engaging implement. The sensor data may relate to material being worked by the work machine using the ground-engaging implement. The controller may detect, based on the sensor data, at least one of an accumulation of the material at the leading edge of the ground-engaging implement or a formation of a ribbon of the material forced from the leading edge of the ground-engaging implement. The controller may cause one or more position adjustments for the ground-engaging implement to resolve the at least one of the accumulation or the formation of the ribbon.
