  • Publication number: 20180216464
Abstract: A method of repairing a blisk having a hub with circumferentially spaced blades. The method can include removing a portion of a blade and replacing the portion with a replacement piece. The method can further include welding the replacement portion to the blade. The method can further include at least one of inspecting the weld after the completion of the weld and prior to heat treatment, dimensionally inspecting the replacement piece after machining, peening the blade, and surface finishing the replacement piece.

  • Publication number: 20160147942
Abstract: A launcher system, method and computer readable medium are used with software and a device having an operating system. They provide an API sub-layer which communicates with the software, and an interfacing sub-layer which communicates with the device. A logic sub-layer automatically receives health standards and protocols governing use of health data, operation and quality control of the device, the operating system, and the software application in health-related fields. The logic sub-layer mediates communication between the API sub-layer and the interfacing sub-layer, and ensures the use of health data, the operation and the quality control of the software application, the operating system and the electronic device are in compliance with all of the applicable health standards and protocols.

  • Publication number: 20140324373
Abstract: Quality control (QC) sensor methods, systems and devices are for use with biological/environmental rapid diagnostic test (RDT) devices and provide for automatic timers, reminders and RDT cassette images. Sensors are calibrated and optimized, and provide for quality control of the RDT devices. Image analysis identifies cassette and patient information, and evaluates the processing and conditions of the RDT devices, cassettes and RDTs. Results may be accessed and analyzed remotely from the RDT devices. RDT chain of custody and workflow, incubation and reading sequences are tracked. A QC score for each unique patient RDT is determined based on QC criteria.

  • Patent number: 5199101
Abstract: An image is stored in raster format having N raster or data lines each with M pixel values in an image or print buffer memory (10). An addressing circuit (20) addresses the print buffer memory to read out m.times.n bit columns or blocks of data, where n=N unless cropping of the image is desired. The blocks are parallel loaded alternately into a first FIFO memory array (40) and a second FIFO memory array (62). Each FIFO memory array includes a plurality of FIFO memories (42a-p 64a-p) which store n data lines segments each of m/p bits. In the first n clock cycles of the first FIFO memory (42a), a multiplexer (46) passes the least significant bit (50) of each data line segment read out of the first FIFO memory. The next N times that the first FIFO memory is clocked, the multiplexer passes the next least significant bit and so on until all m/p bits have been passed serially to a laser printer (48).
