Abstract: An excess flow valve (EFV) is disclosed that has an efficient and durable construction. The EFV is efficient in terms of both size and cost. It is durable partly due to a design with few parts and also because of optional all metal construction. In some embodiments, an intumescent material is included that expands to close off the valve by pressing the valve plug into sealing engagement with the valve seat and permanently stopping the flow of gas when a pressure differential or flow velocity threshold is exceeded.

Abstract: Organizational systems and associated components and methods for garages, sheds, basements or other spaces that have exposed wall or ceiling elongated members are provided. One such component includes a bracket having a first wall, a second wall facing the first wall and spaced apart from the first wall, and a third wall interconnecting the first and second walls. The first, second and third walls cooperatively define a channel for receiving the elongated member. The bracket includes an interface for releasable attachment of a storage component to the bracket. A clamp foot is movably coupled to the first wall. The clamp foot is translatable between an engaged position and a released position to respectively engage and release the elongated member received in the channel.

Abstract: A medicinal dosage compliance system may comprise a docking station, a container, and transactional information component. The docking station may comprise an interaction portion. The lockable container may be configured to hold medicine for a student, and the container may be configured to operably engage with the interaction portion. The transactional information component may be in operative communication with a computing device accessible by a user. The student and the container may be identified and associated with the identified student. Medication data may be communicated to the transactional information component indicative of a dosing event. The medication data may comprise at least a type of medication, a dosage amount of medicine to be taken by the student and a time when the medicine was taken by the student. A digital medical administration record for the identified person may be configured to record the medication data.
