  • Patent number: 10253676
Abstract: A cooling fan assembly operable for cooling a radiator of a vehicle includes a brushless motor and a fan element having a plurality of fan blades. The brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The fan element is attached at the rotor such that rotation of the rotor by the motor imparts rotation of the fan blades to enhance air flow at the radiator of the vehicle. The rotor is a molded polymeric rotor formed by injection molding a thermoplastic material. During injection molding of the rotor, a plurality of magnetic elements are at least partially overmolded by the thermoplastic material to establish the magnetic elements at the molded polymeric rotor. The rotor may have a bell-like shape, and the magnetic elements may be disposed at an inside facing surface of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20020059985
Abstract: A curtain consists of a web of temperature resistant material that forms a web surface and that may be unwound from a coil that is arranged on a coil core. The curtain web has lateral edge regions on either side of the web so as to be separated by the curtain web's width and upper and lower end edge region. The curtain web includes a first outer web layer, and inner layer of fibrous material that extends over a predetermined length and that forms two opposed surfaces, one of which is adjacent to the first outer web layer. The curtain web also includes a second outer layer that is adjacent to the other surface of the inner layer. The curtain arrangement further includes a supply for a liquid fire retardant that extends with in the region of the upper end edge region and over the width of the curtain so as to supply the liquid to the fibrous material.

  • Patent number: 5862851
Abstract: A curtain consists of a web of temperature resistant material forming a web surface and may be unwound from a coil arranged on a coil core. The coil is supported by a bearing arrangement including at least one supporting surface so that the coil core, at least on one of its ends, is supported adjustably in height within a guidance. Alternatively or in combination, the curtain is guided by lateral guide bars including an arrangement for preventing the inserted curtain edge to be drawn out. Another feature is that at least two curtain webs the surfaces of which face each other have a common end bar forming a weight for the curtain.
