Abstract: Described are compositions including: (a) a polymeric dispersant including: (i) an average of at least two polyether pendant groups per molecule; and (ii) an average of at least two amine groups per molecule; and (b) a functionalized acid component including sulfonic acid and/or phosphoric acid functionalized with at least one of an aromatic functional group or a fatty functional group; and wherein at least about 60 percent of the amine groups present in the polymeric dispersant are each individually neutralized with a molecule of the functionalized acid component.
