  • Publication number: 20150253847
Abstract: A method for capturing finger motions and interpreting the captured finger motions into commands for a mobile computing device can comprise receiving, from a first finger mounted sensor, a first sensed finger position of a first finger relative to a second finger. The method can also comprise converting, with a processing unit, the first sensed finger position to a data packet communicable to the mobile computing device. Further, the method can comprise transmitting the data packet to the mobile computing device, wherein the data packet causes the mobile computing device to execute a command.

  • Patent number: 8632322
Abstract: A plunger pump including an airtight bellows surrounding a portion of a drive shaft to protect the drive shaft and associated seals and/or bearings from harmful fluids that are being pumped. No counter-pressure fluid exists inside the bellows, other than air, and the bellows is sufficiently rigid to withstand the pressure of the pumped fluid without collapsing. The interior of the bellows is in fluid communication with the atmosphere, negating the need for a reservoir to accommodate varying quantities of counter-pressure fluid as the pump operates.

  • Publication number: 20100196168
Abstract: A prime mover includes a shaft assembly that is supported for reciprocal movement between first and second ends of a stroke, and that includes first and second portions having a first material, and a third portion in between the first and second portions, having a second material, different from the first material. A single inductive proximity sensor makes a first indication when proximate the first material, and makes a second indication, when proximate the second material. A portion of the sensor is proximate the first portion when the shaft is at the first end of the stroke, the same portion of the same sensor is proximate the second portion when the shaft is at the second end of the stroke, and the same portion of the same sensor is proximate the third portion the entire time the shaft is in between the first and second ends of the stroke.

  • Patent number: 7234702
Abstract: The present invention relates to a game table with a plurality of player stations with an integral lighting system. The game table, for example, a poker table, includes a light window adjacent all of the player stations. An illumination device is fixedly disposed beneath the light window. With such a configuration, lighting is provided from beneath the table, which minimizes shadows during television taping.

  • Patent number: 6722256
Abstract: A reduced icing valve for an gas-driven motor and a reciprocating double diaphragm pump is provided having a shiftable valve for alternatively supplying a motive gas through first and second supply ports to opposed first and second power pistons in opposed motive gas chambers, respectively, and for effecting alternating exhaust of the chambers. The shiftable valve is provided with an insert that deflects, away from the shiftable valve, air entering from each of the bypass valves until the bypass valves are fully actuated by the exhaust gas from the motive gas chambers. The shiftable valve is further provided with bypass valves independent of and intermediate the shiftable valve and each of the first and second motive gas chambers for bypassing the shiftable valve by exhaust gas from the motive gas chambers. The bypass valves are further actuated in an opposing direction by a supply source of motive gas to the chambers.

  • Patent number: 5848615
Abstract: A check valve cartridge for a fluid pump, the check valve cartridge including: a valve seat; a flap valve member seated on the valve seat, the flap member having a first portion movable toward and away from the valve seat; a bumper seated on the flap member, said bumper member for biasing the first portion of the flap valve member toward the valve seat. The check valve cartridge also including a stop member located on the bumper, between the stop member and the flap member; and fastening means for joining the base, flap member, bumper, and stop member to form the integral valve cartridge. The check valve cartridge is seated in a recess formed in the pump housing and is located between the pump housing and a flow manifold.
