  • Patent number: 10773463
Abstract: A method is provided for producing a composite part, in particular a flat composite part, having a foam core that has a first and second cover layer which are bonded to the foam core on a first surface and a second surface, respectively. The method has the following steps: (a) heating the cover layers and the foam core (b) positioning the cover layers on the surfaces of the foam core, (c) positioning the foam core and the cover layers in a press or a mold which forms the completed composite part, (d) reshaping the foam core and the cover layers in the press or in the mold, wherein the cover layers can be positioned on the surfaces of the foam core, (e) cooling and bonding the cover layers and the foam core in the press or in the mold, and (f) removing the composite part from the press or from the mold.

  • Publication number: 20200198509
Abstract: A child seat assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The child seat assembly includes a seat cover and an air conditioning module including a fan. The fan is structured and arranged to couple to the seat cover to guide air, and such that air conveyed by the fan can flow through the seat cover. The seat cover has an air-guiding inner layer, an outer layer, and a bottom layer, with the air-guiding inner layer arranged between the outer layer and the bottom layer. The seat cover has a hem that laterally closes the inner air-guiding layer. At least one outlet opening, through which air can flow, is provided in the hem, such that the air flowing out of the seat cover flows through the at least one outlet opening.

  • Patent number: 9630654
Abstract: A method for producing a body structural element, which can be a roof bow for a motor vehicle, consists of a main body made of fibre-reinforced plastic and a metal connection part. In one or more embodiments, the method includes preparing the metal connection part, preparing a fiber-plastic matrix semifinished product from a duromer resin system and carbon fibers, and overlapping the metal connection part and the fiber-plastic matrix semifinished product in a compression mold. In certain embodiments, the method further includes compressing the metal connection part with the fiber-plastic matrix semifinished product until a fiber-plastic matrix molding material penetrates into undercuts of the metal connection part, and then curing the fiber-plastic matrix semifinished product to form the main body made of fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein the main body is connected in a form-fitting manner to the metal connection part.
