  • Publication number: 20240145190
Abstract: A method of monitoring the temperature of a solid state switch in an aircraft solid state power controller. The method includes: measuring an electric current (I) flowing through the solid state switch; calculating, based on the measured electric current (I), an introduced electric power (Pel) that is introduced into the solid state switch within the predefined time period (?t); calculating an increase in temperature (?T) of the solid state switch that is caused by the introduced electric power (Pel); calculating an actual temperature (Tact) of the solid state switch by adding the calculated increase in temperature (?T) to an ambient temperature (Tamb); and comparing the calculated actual temperature (Tact) with a predefined temperature threshold (Tth) and determining an overheat condition if the calculated actual temperature (Tact) exceeds the predefined temperature threshold (Tth).

  • Patent number: 11316951
Abstract: A system, method and program product for synchronizing client-based data with data in a shared resource. A system is provided that receives data from a plurality of client devices, the data being indicative of at least one action associated with a shared resource accessible by the plurality of client devices, and inserts a plurality of actions indicated by the data as nodes into a polytree queue, wherein actions that do not depend on other actions in the polytree queue are inserted as root level nodes, and actions that depend on other actions in the polytree queue are inserted as child nodes. The system further executes the nodes in the polytree queue to synchronize the data from the plurality of client devices with the shared resource, wherein root level nodes are scheduled for immediate concurrent execution, and execution of child nodes is delayed until parent nodes of an associated child node are executed.

  • Patent number: 10625266
Abstract: An embodiment of a reagent container includes a bottle with a pipe to reduce the effects of reagent sloshing. The bottle has an elongated base and an opposed cover connected by side walls and an end wall. A flat platform surrounded by a raised rim lies in the base opposite an opening in the cover. A ribbed pipe frictionally fits within the bottle opening and may attach to the anchor region leaving vent passages around the pipe. The pipe includes an aperture adjacent to the anchor region and oriented toward the end wall so that sloshed fluid has only a small effect on the level of reagent in the pipe during transfers. A modified blow molding process produces the anchor region by extending a pin a predetermined distance into a mold while the molded material is still plastic.

  • Patent number: 9727907
Abstract: A current geographic location of a mobile device, such as a smart phone, tablet computer, or the like, is used to retrieve one or more lists of product related items, such as information related to product that has been delivered/shipped to one or more locations in the vicinity of the current geographic location of the mobile device. The lists of product related items provide details about the product related items and a user interface element for allowing, among other things, items to be ordered, e.g., for delivery/shipment to a corresponding geographic location.

  • Publication number: 20140304110
Abstract: A system for managing a procurement process uses an ambient light sensor to detect an operating anomaly regarding at least one light source. A procurement system operatively coupled to the light sensing system receives information indicative of the detected operating anomaly of the at least one light source and, in response thereto, initiates the procurement process to obtain a replacement for the at least one light source.

  • Publication number: 20030009437
Abstract: A computer program and method are disclosed for matching a potential positionee and potential positionor. The potential positionee is provided with a positionee information entry interface for entering positionee information comprising the potential positionee's actual qualifications. The positionee information is stored in a database. Matching is accomplished by providing the potential positionor with a positionor information entry interface for electronically entering positionor information comprising at least one target qualification for a position, the positionor information being stored in the database. Matching is based on determining whether the positionee information correlates with the positionor information. A correlated information list is created. The correlated information is presented for review. Code sections of the computer program preferably accomplish these and other tasks.
