    Abstract: A shelf has a base member forming a support platform, and a hanging member extending upwardly from the base member to connect the shelf to a closet shelf with the base member positioned beneath the closet shelf and spaced apart therefrom. The base member is sized to be offset from a front edge of the closet shelf and positioned between a closet rod and an adjacent wall. A shelf is provided with a base member having a first support platform adjacent to a front edge region, and a second support platform adjacent to a rear edge region, with the second support platform defining a recessed region. A shelf assembly has a base member, a first hanging member, and a second hanging member to connect the base member beneath and offset from a front edge of the closet shelf and positioned between a closet rod and an adjacent wall.
