Abstract: A system and method for providing high availability for telecommunications and data communications by implementing a network bus architecture at a card level. The network bus architecture, which may be a combination of hardware, software, and APIs, replaces the conventional midplane/backplane as the system bus for PCI purposes. The system provides physical redundancy to the system by connecting ports of the various system cards using dual/redundant ethernet switches. Further, since the system cards are connected through network connections, failure of any component is interpreted and addressed as a network failure instead of as a hardware failure.

Abstract: A motorcycle jack including a support assembly (SA) for engagement with a first part (S) of a motorcycle and a lifting assembly (LA) for engagement with a second part (S) of the motorcycle, the first and second parts being on opposite sides of the motorcycle. The lifting assembly (LA) is adjustable between an initial position in which both motorcycle wheels (W) are in contact with the ground and a lifted position in which one motorcycle wheel is raised above the ground (G).

Abstract: An apparatus for clarifying especially a select portion of the slurry content of a material reducing machine sump, the apparatus having a chamber providing a space into which such select portion of the sump slurry content may flow into engagement with a filter, the liquid component thereof passing through the same and back to the sump, individual and opposite acting pneumatic and hydraulic pressure producing means for inducing the mentioned flow into the chamber and engagement with and through the filter and return to the sump.
