  • Publication number: 20230027641
Abstract: Denture duplicating methods and systems are described that include a controller configured to scan a mold of a denture for a wearer using a scanner, create a denture specifications file associated with the mold of the denture, store the denture specifications file in non-transitory computer readable memory, upon request, retrieve the denture specifications file and load it into a milling design software program to generate a replacement denture platform design, and instruct a communicatively coupled three-dimensional printer to perform a print operation resulting in a replacement denture platform based in part on the replacement denture platform design before the replacement denture platform and milled teeth can then be sent to the wearer.

  • Publication number: 20220323192
Abstract: A tooth arrangement decal constructed and arranged to facilitate the rapid communication of the placement of prostheses with respect to prosthetic teeth on a wax rim and a method of using the same is provided. The tooth arrangement decal may instruct the arrangement of teeth, and in particular, central incisors, lateral incisors, and canines. The tooth arrangement decal may be constructed and arranged to eliminate the need for tedious measurements and inscription of markings on a wax ring to indicate the appropriate location for prostheses during denture set-up.

  • Patent number: 8573102
Abstract: This invention relates to a machine and system for processing strip material which typically is removed from the edges of a sheet of material during the formation process. The strip material is formed in an apparatus and expelled at a variable line speed. The line speed is measured by a sensor which provides a signal representation of the speed to a cutter assembly. The cutter assembly cuts the strip material at a cutting speed which is sequenced to the line speed such that the strip material is cut into a plurality of pieces. The pieces are generally uniform in shape and size across variations in the line speed because the cutting speed is synchronized with the line speed.

  • Patent number: 6659050
Abstract: A valve assembly for controlling the amount of coolant exiting an engine is provided. The valve assembly includes a valve housing that is mounted to the engine and defines a passage that is in fluid communication with a coolant outlet in the engine. A motor in the valve housing drives a valve shaft that extends into the passage and on which a butterfly valve plate is mounted. The physical geometry of the inventive assembly is not significantly effected by changes in coolant temperature or coolant contamination and the integrates the valve member and actuator in a single assembly to improve packaging and material use and eliminates potential coolant leak points.
