  • Publication number: 20260195808
Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments for a camera guide alignment and check deposit system with text extraction. An embodiment operates by identifying four coordinates corresponding to four corners of a check within a viewfinder of a mobile device. A main bounding box comprising the check having handwritten or printed characters is generated based the four coordinates of the check. One or more key boxes are generated within the main bounding box. A command to take a picture of the check is detected. The mobile device is caused to capture a plurality of images of the check responsive to the command, the plurality of images including a plurality of key images corresponding to the one or more key boxes. The plurality of key images are provided for processing and depositing the check into an account.

  • Publication number: 20260195809
Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments for a camera guide alignment and auto-capture system with image processing. An embodiment operates by generating a base image of a document as displayed within a viewfinder of a camera that includes a visual guide. A tilt associated with the base image is identified. One or coordinates corresponding to a position of the visual guide are identified. A perspective correction is performed on the base image based on the coordinate(s) to generate a corrected image, in which the tilt is reduced. A preview of the corrected image is provided for display within the viewfinder. The corrected image is provided for storage or further processing.

  • Publication number: 20250371610
Abstract: Disclosed herein are computer-implemented method, system, and computer-readable medium embodiments for providing a virtual second image during remote deposit of documents. A system generates, from a field of view of a camera, a live stream of image data comprising imagery of a portion of the document. The system obtains, via an optical character recognition program, one or more data elements from the imagery of the portion of the document and generates a first image of a front side of the document. The system receives an electronic signature of a customer via a user interface and, upon verifying the electronic signature, generates a virtual second image by merging the electronic signature with a second image for a back side of the document selected from a plurality of back images. The system transmits the first image, the virtual second image, and the one or more data elements to a remote deposit platform.

  • Publication number: 20250156835
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments for providing a mid-stream deposit availability schedule to a customer electronically depositing a check. The deposit availability schedule is generated by activating a mobile financial application, receiving a customer request to deposit a financial instrument, and based on the customer request, activating a camera on the client mobile device to access a field of view of at least one camera and capture one or more images of a financial instrument, store, in a computer memory on the client mobile device, the one or more images. An optical character recognition program, resident on the client mobile device, extracts in real-time, one or more data fields from one or more portions of the financial instrument, communicates the one or more data fields to a remote deposit server and receives a deposit availability schedule, before acceptance of the remote deposit.

  • Publication number: 20250117764
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof for blending multiple images of a financial instrument (e.g., check) into a single blended image to mitigate potential image errors. The method generates a number of images of the financial instrument and builds a blended image by blending pixel content of common pixels from set of the images and communicates the blended image to a remote deposit server.

  • Patent number: 12175438
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof for blending multiple images of a financial instrument (e.g., check) into a single blended image to mitigate potential image errors. The method generates a confidence score for each of the plurality of images of the financial instrument, selects, based on the confidence score, a number of images of the financial instrument, ranks the number of images, arranging them from a highest to lowest confidence score, and assigns a weighting value, such as transparency, to each image of the selected number of images of the financial instrument, based on a respective ranking. The method builds a blended image by blending pixel content of common pixels, as modified by a respective weighting value, from the number of images and communicates the blended image to a remote deposit server.
