    Abstract: A first brine free of salt and phosphate for treating a food product by injection of the brine into the food product. The brine is formed from an emulsion consisting of water, saltless flavoring and protein. The protein is from the same type of food product as the food product being injected with the brine. A second brine especially for ham with the bine being similar to the first brine, but with a low sodium content of a maximum of 0.5% to 1.0% of the weight of the food product. A third brine for pork bellies without phosphate.

    Abstract: A system for detecting and eliminating subterranean animals is disclosed. The system includes an infrared detector device adapted to detect animals below the ground surface from above the ground surface. A lethal event device is operatively coupled to the infrared detector device. An animal below the ground surface passing the above ground infrared detector actuates the lethal event device to eliminate the animal below the ground surface. A method for detecting subterranean animals is disclosed, as well as a method for detecting and eliminating subterranean animals.

    Abstract: A refrigeration device includes a refrigeration compartment with planar, horizontal top and bottom portions and vertical sidewall portion. The compartment has an elliptical cross-section and is supported by a vertical support member. The compartment includes at least two separate, planar shelving members positioned adjacent the compartment bottom portion, with each shelving member rotatable about a separate vertical axis. The compartment's sidewall portions each includes at least one door member providing access to the planar shelving members. The compartment's sidewall end portions includes a pair of door members that slide horizontally to provide access to the planar shelving members interior the refrigeration compartment. Most preferably, the door members are transparent. A refrigeration unit supplies cooling air to the refrigeration compartment for cooling items therein.
