Abstract: An extended thread protector for a perforating gun is provided. The thread protector can be joined to a perforating gun to prevent material from entering the interior of the perforating gun while also protecting the threads of the perforating gun. The extended thread protector includes an extended cavity to accept various product classifications. In one embodiment, the thread protector includes an externally threaded collar and an extended sidewall that are separated from each other by a circumferential flange. The extended sidewall is slightly tapered along its outer diameter, narrowing toward the closed end of the thread protector. The extended sidewall is at least twice the length of the threaded collar, optionally between two and six times the length of the threaded collar.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments relating to generating profile-based groups to obtain suggestions regarding a topic. Third party profiles corresponding to third party users are identified based on a similarity to a profile associated with a client device of a user. A network page that is configured to facilitate discussion regarding a topic is generated and transmitted to a client device and third party devices associated with the third party users. Suggestions regarding the topic may be received from the third party devices via the network page.

A network page is rendered in a client computing device comprising a topic field to input a topic and a third party criteria selection mechanism to select at least one third party user. The user inputs the topic and the third party criteria. A request for suggestions relating to the topic is then sent from the client computing device to a server computing device.
