  • Patent number: 11924501
Abstract: Computing platforms and methods for dynamic presentation of graphical and video content are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: provide, in a static browsing state, a static image associated with underlying video content; in response to an extended focus on the static image for a first threshold amount of time, expand a visual tile to a widescreen aspect ratio while remaining in the static browsing state; after a second threshold amount of time, initiate a dwell browsing state in which dwell tile content is provided in the expanded visual tile, while other content remains in the static browsing state; in response to a determination that the playback device supports a dwell video mode, play a video asset within the expanded visual tile; and in response to a determination that the playback device does not support the dwell video mode, provide an alternate non-video visual asset within the expanded visual tile.

  • Patent number: 11049405
Abstract: Provided is an airspace controller for creating and managing dynamic airspace for different users. The airspace controller may produce different dynamic airspace for each user by continually updating static controlled airspace maps with user-specific flight information including user-planned flights, authorization status of the user's flights, waivers, controlled airspace restrictions, and real-time flight telemetry. The airspace controller may generate a static airspace map for all users with different airspace user interface (“UI”) elements at different regions that correspond to different airspace restrictions in effect at those regions. The airspace controller may create dynamic airspace for each user by modifying the static airspace map to include flight UE elements over regions of the static airspace map where user-defined flights are to occur.

  • Patent number: 10984660
Abstract: An aircraft detection system supplements the identification of aircraft with information that is obtained from two or more different detection channels. The system may obtain a first set of identifying information about a particular aircraft or flight via a first detection channel at a first time, may determine that the first set of identifying information lacks commonality with previously received sets of identifying information for other detected aircraft of flights, and may track the particular aircraft or flight based on the first set of identifying information. The system may then obtain a second set of identifying information via a different second detection channel at a second time, may determine commonality between the second set of identifying information and the first set of identifying information, and may update the tracking of the particular aircraft or flight by incorporating or adding identifying information from the second set of identifying information.

  • Patent number: 10971023
Abstract: An aircraft detection system identifies aircraft based on identifying information obtained from two or more different detection channels using a distributed set of user equipment, network equipment, broadcast receivers, aircraft control cloud system, and/or flight tracking equipment with different sensors. The different sensors may detect aircraft that communicate via different wireless networks, network connectivity, message broadcasts, visual features, and sound in addition to or instead traditional radar and satellite detection. Accordingly, the aircraft detection system may perform multi-channel remote identification to accelerate the identification of aircraft and may use the two or more detection channels as alternate means with which to identify aircraft that may go undetected with one or more of the detection channels.

  • Patent number: 9967936
Abstract: An examination light apparatus including a touch-less control component that enables a user to control the apparatus without requiring physical contact between the user and the apparatus. The apparatus employs an LED control component that is configured to adapt its electrical interface to a variable quantity of light emitting diodes in order to interface with each of a plurality of lamp heads that each can include a unique arrangement and quantity of light emitting diodes. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) provide a high level of light quality, quantity and intensity (luminosity) while requiring low power consumption and low space and weight requirements and are employed without requiring a cooling fan. Uniform mechanical and electrical interfaces between the control component and other portions of the examination lamp provide for efficient and simple manufacturing of various examination light configurations.
