The method includes associating a plurality of video-on-demand programming packages as a programming bundle and identifying a number of video-on-demand programming packages within the programming bundle that a subscriber has subscribed. When the number of video-on-demand programming packages exceeds a pre-specified number of programming packages, the subscriber is automatically subscribed to all the video-on-demand programming packages in the programming bundle.

    Abstract: A game pad controller for connection to a portable phone has an outer casing and a game control unit within the casing. The front of the casing has a seat for locating the portable phone and at least one keypad adjacent the seat for user engagement to control a game. The seat has a channel for slidably receiving an adapter, which is either attached to the rear face of the phone or to a holder for the phone. A releasable latching mechanism at the inner end of the channel releasably secures the adapter in the channel. The adapter may be a dimpled hub device. The arrangement allows the game pad controller to be used with any type of portable phone.

At least part of the perimeter portion of the container contacts the adhesive, and the central portion of the container does not contact the adhesive. This reduces the overall pipeline and warehouse inventory within the distribution network by reducing the average transit time for each part, and by reducing the amount of safety stock that is needed to support the operations of the manufacturing facilities.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a plastic encapsulated plastic structural member includes the steps of forming a mold having first and second mold parts which form an enclosed mold defining a cavity therein having a configuration the same as the configuration of this structural member to be formed. A core of wooden material having holes on each of two opposed surfaces is formed and positioned in the cavity so that pins on the mold parts engage the holes. A foamable plastic material and nitrogen is injected under low pressure into the cavity to cause the plastic material to foam up and fill the space between the core and the cavity all around the core. The plastic material is then allowed to harden to form a plastic layer around the core. The mold parts are then removed. The holes may be closed with the plug of additional plastic material.
