    Abstract: A garment hanger apparatus for a vehicle seat has a strap assembly, one end of which is fastened to a vehicle headrest or headrest support, and the other end of which is connected to a garment hanger with a releasable connector. The end of the strap that is connected to the hanger is wrapped over the top of the headrest and allowed to extend downwardly behind the seat back. The releasable connector allows the garment hanger to be separated from the strap while the strap remains fastened to the headrest support. The garment hanger may have a foldable hook that is unfolded to hang the garment when the hanger is separated from the strap.
