Patent number: 8169362Abstract: A method and apparatus for sensing a target through a wall or obstruction by a Moving Target Indicator (MTI) radar sensor. In an exemplary embodiment, a series of radar pulses are transmitted at frequencies less than about 5 GHz. Radar return signals are received at a plurality of receive antenna array subapertures. The radar return signals are processed by a digital beamformer to form multiple beams. Target detection processing detects moving and stationary targets through a plurality of parallel target detection signal processing paths.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2009Date of Patent: May 1, 2012Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventors: Carl D. Cook, Scott E. Adcook, Michael D. Lee, Mena J. Ghebranious

Patent number: 7766964Abstract: Methods of ligament repair are provided. A ligament graft is arranged in a tensioning device and placed adjacent to a heating surface. The heating surface is activated to heat the graft. The graft is tensioned while on the substantially dry heating surface to provide laxity to the graft. The size of the relaxed graft remains the same until the graft is implanted in a bone tunnel as either an anterior or posterior cruciate ligament graft.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2007Date of Patent: August 3, 2010Assignee: Biomet Sports Medicine, LLCInventors: Kevin T Stone, Nathan M Sautter, Michael D Lee

Patent number: 7210110Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a matched routing netlist for a semiconductor device. In a particular embodiment, a topological plan for the microelectronic device is compiled and used to calculate a population of netlists. The netlists are then dynamically modified using a genetic algorithm to generate a matched netlist for the device.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2004Date of Patent: April 24, 2007Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventors: Brooklin J. Gore, Michael D. Lee, Matthew L. Priest

Patent number: 5712985Abstract: A demand forecasting and production scheduling system and method creates production schedules for various business items describing a forecasted demand for the business items in a number of future time intervals. The system includes a computer managed database of various profiles, including a base profile for each business item, and a number of influence profiles. The profiles describe variations in demand for the business item in a number of time intervals. The base profile describes an underlying level of demand for a business item that is anticipated for the business item absent any influencing factors, such as promotional sales, holidays, weather variations, and the like. The variations in demand for the business item due to such influence factors are stored in the database as influence profiles. The influence profiles may be either standard, percentage, or seasonal.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 1995Date of Patent: January 27, 1998Inventors: Michael D. Lee, Randall K. Fields, Jamie T. Pond, Barrire K. Tondevold

Patent number: 4999885Abstract: A clip for orderly arrangement and identification of flexible lines such as hospital intravenous tubing has a pocket for grasping the tubing and interengaging protrusions and engagement holes whereby the clip can be chained in a line with other similar clips. The clip has a pair of arms attached at one end to a base, free ends of the arms being attachable to the base of another clip. The base has engagement holes for receiving snap-in protrusions on the free ends of the arms, the arms being spaced and the protrusions preferably protruding outwardly for insertion into engagement holes on the inside of a cavity in the base after compressing the arms together with finger pressure. Tubing or wiring which is grasped by the clips is thus maintained in neat and orderly spaced relation. The clips can be coded by color, shape or the like and are preferably placed at spaced positions along the tubes for identifying a specific tube without tracing it back to its source of destination.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 1990Date of Patent: March 19, 1991Inventor: Michael D.
