  • Publication number: 20240124196
Abstract: A thermoplastic bag includes duplicative seals. In particular, in one or more implementations, a thermoplastic bag includes a first seal and at least a second seal reinforcing the same area of the thermoplastic bag. For instance, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes multiple seals along each side edge or along the hem. If one seal fails, the other seal(s) can remain in place to prevent leaks. Thus, the duplicative seals of the thermoplastic bag can provide reinforced strength and desired aesthetics.

  • Patent number: 11958660
Abstract: Thermoplastic bags with phased deformation patterns are described. In particular, one or more implementations comprise thermoplastic bags with ring rolling, SELFing, or other deformation patterns phased or aligned relative to the sides of the bags. The phased deformation patterns can allow for reducing or eliminating deformation patterns in areas of the thermoplastic bag in which side seals or other seals are formed. Additionally or alternatively, the phased deformation patterns can provide for zones that provide differing properties (e.g., functional or aesthetic). Such zones can vary aligned along a width of the thermoplastic bag and optionally also vary along a height of the thermoplastic bag. The differing zones can provide the thermoplastic bags with phased deformations that provide leak prevention, liquid containment, and other benefits.

  • Publication number: 20130205227
Abstract: Techniques for processing a set of documents. The techniques include automatically identifying at least one unresolved issue associated with a first document, including a first unresolved issue and a second unresolved issue associated with the first document. The techniques also include resolving the first unresolved issue by presenting information associated with the first unresolved issue to a first user, receiving input from the first user in response to the presented information associated with the first unresolved issue, and resolving the first unresolved issue based on the input received from the first user. The techniques further include resolving the second unresolved issue by presenting information associated with the second unresolved issue to a second user, receiving input from the second user in response to the presented information associated with the second unresolved issue, and resolving the second unresolved issue based on the input received from the second user.

  • Publication number: 20120204103
Abstract: Techniques for adaptively processing a set of documents. The techniques include adaptively processing a plurality of documents associated with one or more transactions by processing at least a first document of the plurality of documents based at least in part on a first rule, wherein the first rule uses a first value for a first parameter associated with the first rule, determining whether to update the first rule based at least in part on a measure of performance evaluated for the first document, and if it is determined based on the measure of performance that the first rule is to be updated, updating the first rule by changing the first value of the first parameter to a second value different from the first value.
