  • Patent number: 11940384
Abstract: Devices and methods for determining the cumulative distribution of a polymer property in a reactor without physical separation of reaction subcomponents. The device includes a means of measuring an instantaneous property of the polymers being produced in a reaction vessel a plurality of times during a polymerization reaction as well as a means of determining the corresponding change in polymer concentration in the reaction vessel between measurements of the instantaneous polymer property. The device also includes a means of computing a statistical distribution appropriate to the polymer characteristic and applying the statistical distribution to a recently measured instantaneous value of the polymer property so as to have an instantaneous distribution of the polymer property and a means of adding together the instantaneous distributions of the polymer property in order to obtain the cumulative distribution of the polymer property in the reactor.

  • Publication number: 20190052643
Abstract: Examples include cloud access rule translation for a hybrid cloud computing environment. Some examples include translation of a cloud access rule in a cloud-specific format to a canonical format and a determination of whether to allow an application programming interface (API) request for a cloud computing service based on the translated cloud access rule.

  • Patent number: 5418496
Abstract: A serial data clock receiver circuit (11) is provided that synchronizes a clock signal to data. The serial data clock receiver circuit (11) comprises a control circuit (21), a dual oscillator circuit (19), and a phase locked loop circuit (22). The control circuit (21) arms the dual oscillator circuit (19) for being enabled during an idle period. The phase locked loop circuit (22) provides a reference voltage for the dual oscillator circuit (19). The dual oscillator circuit (19) is responsive to both the data and control circuit (19) for providing a clock signal.

  • Patent number: 4894829
Abstract: A source computer program for generating object computer programs, referred to as test program sets, for use in operating a particular automatic test equipment unit (ATE). The ATE is useable for testing a variety of electrical equipment type units each of which is referred to with relation to said ATE as a unit under test (UUT). The source program involves (1) having a test engineer, who designs the individual tests, enter the tests graphically at a work station, (2) verifying the match between the entered test design, the ATE capabilities and the UUT description, and (3) having an automatic way of generating a test program for a test program set from the stored semantic content of the graphically entered test design.

  • Patent number: 4806940
Abstract: An aircraft navigation system supporting a plurality of navigation modes. An error estimator for each navigation mode provides an estimated navmode error signal representative of an estimate of the error in the position signal generated by the associated navmode. A navigation mode selector enables the navmode having the smallest estimated navmode error signal that is consistent with procedure specified navaid criteria. The navmode computed position signal is processed through a low pass position filter. The estimated navmode error signal associated with the selected navmode is processed through a low pass position error filter having the same time constant as the low pass position filter to provide an estimated position error. The estimated position error is utilized in providing the INS and DEAD RECKONING navigation as well as to set a threshold for estimated navmode error signals sensor data validation.
