  • Publication number: 20090249294
Abstract: A method and system provides one or more product type descriptions, and constructs a map between the sub-conditions of the product type descriptions and constructs in a Web Ontological Language (OWL). The method converts the product type description rules into new OWL classes by creating a new OWL class for each corresponding rule; adding the new OWL class to the OWL ontology; for each condition of the corresponding rule, extracting sub-conditions; for each the sub-condition extracted; creating new constructs for the new OWL class using the map; and adding new class restrictions to the new OWL class, wherein each of the new class restrictions relates to a corresponding condition of the corresponding rule.

  • Publication number: 20090070630
Abstract: A system and method of identifying and storing memory error locations is disclosed. In one form, a method of using a memory is disclosed. The method can include detecting a memory error during execution of a run time environment within an information handling system, and determining if the memory error is a correctable memory error. The method can also include identifying a first memory location within a first memory device causing the memory error, and storing a first reference to the first memory location within a persistent memory. The method can further include disabling use of the first memory location during use of the run time environment.

  • Publication number: 20080275834
Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present exemplary embodiment, a system determines a solution based on received data. An intake component receives an incomplete data set from one or more sources. A recommendation system transforms the incomplete data set into a semantic data set via latent semantic indexing, classifies the semantic data set into an existing cluster and provides one or more solutions of the existing cluster as one or more recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20080126331
Abstract: A method for knowledge mining a set of documents, wherein each particular document of the set of documents has been assigned a score based upon how many documents reference the particular document, is disclosed. The method includes entering search criteria into the knowledge mining application which then uses the search criteria to identify documents that match the search criteria within the set of documents, and receiving a list of the identified documents, wherein the list of identified documents are ranked by their score.

  • Patent number: 7192457
Abstract: The present lipid-based wax compositions commonly include a polyol fatty acid ester component (made up of partial and/or completely esterified polyols). Generally, at least a portion of the polyol fatty acid ester has been subjected to a transesterification reaction. Lipid-based wax compositions having a melting point of about 48° C. to about 75° C. can be particularly advantageous for use in forming candles. The wax may contain other components such as mineral wax, plant wax, insect wax, and/or other components. The polyol fatty acid ester component can include triacylglycerols such as those derived from plant oils (soybean oil, palm oil, etc.). The polyol ester component may be characterized based on one or more of its physical characteristics, such as SFI-40, SFI-10, typical crystal structure, IV, melting curve, and/or other properties.
