  • Patent number: 12249215
Abstract: An electronic fund transfer system and method for transferring a plurality of electronic funds from a financial account to a gaming device is described. The method includes enabling a handheld mobile communication device to receive a user instruction that transfers electronic funds from the financial account to the gaming device associated with a casino management system. A host system communicates with the gaming credit system via a local network. A funds management portal communicates with the host system and a secure payment gateway. The funds management portal receives a record of the electronic funds transfer from the user financial account. The method enables the funds management portal to send instructions to the host system that issues an electronic credit to the gaming device. The electronic credit corresponds to the electronic funds from the financial account. A ticket, which is associated with the electronic credit, is received by the gaming device.

  • Publication number: 20240046750
Abstract: A system for purchasing credits is described that includes a plurality of mobile electronic transaction terminals (ETTs), a secure gateway, a financial account server, a credit system, and authorized credits. Each of the mobile ETTs includes a display, and are configured to receive a patron input. Additionally, each of the mobile ETTs is in exclusive electronic communication with the secure gateway. At least one mobile ETT generates an electronic transaction request instruction that is used to generate an electronic transaction request, which is communicated to the financial account server. An electronic transaction approval is then received at the secure gateway from the financial account server. The secure gateway generates an authorization to dispense credits and communicates the authorization to dispense credits to the one mobile ETT. And the credit system dispenses authorized credits.

  • Publication number: 20230195681
Abstract: The present subject matter facilitates chaining of multiple serial peripheral interface (SPI) compliant devices without requiring a bulky clock tree. Generally, in a serial clock distribution scheme as described herein, a fixed pulse based output cock (SCLK_OUT) is synchronized with the data output (SDO) from a respective device in the chain. The SCLK_OUT signal is connected to the SPI clock input (SCLK) of the following downstream device, and SDO is connected to the data input (SDI) of the respective downstream device. This allows the SCLK from the SPI master device to propagate through a theoretically unlimited count of devices in series. The master can resynchronize the MISO data from the SDO of the last part in the chain with the SCLK_OUT signal of the last device in the chain.

  • Patent number: 10003252
Abstract: A power converter circuit can be operated in a constant-current mode when a monitored output current exceeds a specified over-current threshold. A value representing an output voltage of the power converter circuit can be compared to a soft-start voltage reference value. The soft-start voltage reference value can be set (or reset) to a value representing the output voltage of the power converter when the difference between the soft-start voltage reference value and the value representing the output voltage of the power converter is greater than a specified threshold. The output voltage of the power converter can be regulated using the soft-start voltage reference value as a target voltage including ramping the soft-start voltage reference value at specified rate to maintain the soft-start voltage reference value within a specified range of a specified regulated output voltage value, such as to constrain a slew rate of the regulated output voltage.

  • Patent number: 9998001
Abstract: A control circuit eliminates the Zeno phenomenon in a power supply controller while transferring control from a primary side controller to a secondary side controller. The primary side controller generates a feedback voltage (e.g., threshold voltage) that is input to a comparator. An output node voltage of the control circuit is fed back to the linear amplifier to be compared with the threshold voltage. While the output node voltage is less than the threshold voltage, a charge pump is coupled to the output node of the control circuit. After the output node voltage has toggled around the threshold voltage a number of times, the comparator output node is coupled to the output node of the control circuit and the charge pump is decoupled from the output node. When the output node voltage has discharged to be equal to the threshold voltage, control is handed off from the primary side controller to the secondary side controller.
