  • Patent number: 10062198
Abstract: System and methods for computer animations of 3D models of heads generated from images of faces is disclosed. A 2D captured image that includes an image of a face can be received and used to generate a static 3D model of a head. A rig can be fit to the static 3D model to generate an animation-ready 3D generative model. Sets of rigs can be parameters that each map to particular sounds. These mappings can be used to generate a playlists of sets of rig parameters based upon received audio content. The playlist may be played in synchronization with an audio rendition of the audio content.

  • Patent number: 10021131
Abstract: Some embodiments provide an origin whose content is distributed by a third party content distributor control over invoking attack protections from the third party content distributor. The origin independently monitors requests and messaging the content distributor passes to the origin as a result of the content distributor needing to retrieve content from the origin before redistribution or because requested content is dynamic or uncacheable. Upon detection of an attack, the origin signals the content distributor to perform one of several attack protections on its behalf. In this manner, the origin leverages the content distributor distributed platform architecture to shield itself from attack. Based on the origin signaling, the content distributor rate limits, blocks, redirects, or performs other attack protections to reduce the load on the origin server.

  • Publication number: 20180189914
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium includes a set of instructions that in operation cause a processor to receive an indication of a personnel threat within a predetermined distance from at least one personnel site. The instructions also cause a processor to determine whether any additional personnel sites are affected by the personnel threat, and to automatically display an indication of the personnel threat to operators of a health security platform. Further, the instructions cause a processor to initiate a risk action plan for the at least one personnel site and the additional personnel sites affected by the personnel threat, to monitor which of the personnel sites of the at least one personnel site and the additional personnel sites are in compliance with the risk action plan, and to provide alerts to the personnel sites that are not in compliance with the risk action plan.

  • Publication number: 20180161009
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system has a user control by which a user positions the user's selection of a heart chamber border in relation to two myocardial boundaries identified by a deformable heart model. The user's border is positioned by a single degree of freedom control which positions the border as a function of a single user- determined value. This overcomes the vagaries of machine-drawn borders and their mixed acceptance by clinicians, who can now create repeatably-drawn borders and exchange the control value for use by others to obtain the same results.

  • Patent number: 9933216
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a bundle of tubes, which can be inserted into a tubular housing. Exhaust gas can flow through the tubes. A coolant duct can be arranged between the tubes. The bundle of tubes can have at least one grid-like securing structure which supports the bundle in the housing. The behavior of the heat exchanger with respect to vibrations is affected by outwardly curved metallic springs attached to the bundle of tubes which may be deformed in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the bundle into the housing. The spring force is directed against the housing in order to dampen vibrations. The heat exchanger can also include an elastic device for permitting a change in length caused by temperature changes.

  • Patent number: 9898796
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods are described including receiving a policy from a secure storage device, where the policy may be used to implement collaborative rendering of image content. The image content may include multiple portions of image content. The policy may be used to determining rendering assignments for multiple mobile devices where the assignments may specify that a mobile device is to render one content portion while another mobile device is to render another content portion. The rendering assignments may be provided to the mobile devices and rendered output corresponding to the different content portions may be received from the mobile devices. The rendered output may then be assembled into one or more image frames and wirelessly communicated to a remote display.
