Michael DeCarlo has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 12587301
Abstract: The application relates to a unique optoelectronic module configured to operate simultaneously at high-speed bit rate and low speed bit rate, thanks to a reconfigurable system on a chip, i.e. a programmable unit on a chip. This reconfigurable system embeds the electronic circuitry of the low-speed channel(s), i.e. at least the driver when the link is a transmission channel, or at least the amplifier when the link is a receiver channel.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 24, 2023
Date of Patent: March 24, 2026
    Assignee: RADIALL
Inventors: Mathias Pez, Michael Decarlo, William Stadtler

  • Patent number: 6499688
Abstract: An automated winding apparatus includes a deflection sheave for directing a flat filament onto a rotating take-up reel. The deflection sheave sequentially moves progressively farther away from the take-up reel in response to information provided by a proximity sensor which detects the position of the outermost filament layer accumulating on the reel. The deflection sheave initially may be moved toward the take-up reel after a predetermined length of filament has been wound.
