  • Publication number: 20150014098
Abstract: A method and control device for monitoring travel movements of an elevator car utilize an electronic control device positioned at the car. Travel movements of the elevator car are travels, speeds or accelerations of the car. At least individual travel movements are subject to redundant detection for the purpose of monitoring. Either the travels or the speeds are redundantly detected and the accelerations singularly detected, or alternatively the accelerations are redundantly detected and the travels or the speeds are singularly detected, or preferably the travels or the speeds and the accelerations are redundantly detected. The electronic control device is preferably arranged at the support rollers of the elevator car.

  • Patent number: 6750565
Abstract: A method for switching on an inductive load, in particular an ignition coil, whose current is intended repeatedly to reach a predefined variable end value at a respectively predefined variable time, includes measuring the time interval between the switching-on action and reaching at least one predefined intermediate value. This time interval and the at least one predefined intermediate value are used to calculate the anticipated time from switching on until the end value is reached. A following switching-on action is carried out at the calculated time before the respectively predefined time.

  • Publication number: 20040036468
Abstract: A measuring device for detecting the angular position of a rotatable object. The measuring device has a magnet core, a first coil, second coils, a permanent magnet, and an evaluation circuit. The magnet core has an annular shape and is provided with a gap. The first coil is wound about the magnet core and generates a magnetic flow in the magnet core. The second coils are wound about ends of the first coil proximate the gap. The permanent magnet has a first side moveably attached to the magnet core and a second side for attaching to the rotatable object. The permanent magnet is attached to the magnet core such that a virtual gap is formed in the magnet core during movement thereof. The evaluation circuit detects the position of the permanent magnet based on the voltages induced in the second coils by the magnetic flow.
