    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for introducing a material web into a corrugating device having a corrugating roller for generating from the material web a corrugated web. The method comprises the step of attaching at least one double-sided adhesive tape piece which has a first adhesive face and a second adhesive face that is opposite the first adhesive face to the material web by means of the first adhesive face upstream of the corrugating device of the material web, and guiding the material web through the corrugating device in such a manner that the second adhesive face adheres to the rotating corrugating roller while entraining the material web for introducing the material web.
