Publication number: 20190331546Abstract: A leak detection system for flat commercial roof structures is disclosed in order to detect and subsequently repair a leak as soon as possible such that any damage to the roof, as well as to other structural and/or insulation components of the overall roof structure, can be minimized due to the absorption or migration of the water. The leak detection system may comprise elongated water detection sensor strips to be fixedly secured to at least two edge portions of insulation board assemblies, or alternatively, electrical circuits may be provided over the entire expanse of the major upper surface portion of each insulation board assembly, or alternatively still further, rolls of water detection sensor strips may be applied to different regions of the flat commercial roof structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2018Publication date: October 31, 2019Applicant: Molex, LLCInventors: Steven J. Fulton, Pankaj Sharma, Jay Hennes, Jesse J. Cole, Martin L. Ganser III, Daniel A. Balder, Robert Irwin, Michael Deppe

Patent number: 7032963Abstract: A motor vehicle roof with a wind deflector element (20) which can be raised with its rear edge area (16) and a covering arrangement which is located behind the wind deflector element for selective joint closing and at least partial clearance of a roof opening, the wind deflector element having a spoiler body (10) for preventing unwanted air flow noise when the covering arrangement is open. The spoiler body (10) is foamed onto the wind deflector element (20) via a peripheral foaming production process.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2004Date of Patent: April 25, 2006Assignee: Webasto AGInventors: Michael Deppe, Robert Koch, Roland Hahn, Rudolf Schröder

Patent number: 7029062Abstract: A guide arrangement for displaceable parts of motor vehicle roofs with at least one guide along which at least one slide body is movably guided, the guide being a guideway made of aluminum or of an aluminum alloy on which the at least one slide body slides, a surface layer of which has an anodized layer into which at least one lubricant has been incorporated. A process for producing the guide arrangement involves anodizing the guideway of aluminum or of an aluminum alloy and immersing it in a lubricant-containing bath so that the lubricant becomes incorporated into the anodized layer.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2004Date of Patent: April 18, 2006Assignee: Webasto AGInventors: Michael Deppe, Attila Güven, Marc Hajek, Christian Walkowiak, Andreas Feuerle

Publication number: 20040194876Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the connection of micro-chip modules to antennas arranged on a first carrier tape for the manufacture of a transponder, in which the chip modules are first applied to a second carrier tape and both carrier tapes are wound off the reel and brought one above the other, whereby the chip modules are released from the second carrier tape and placed at a predetermined point on the first carrier tape. Release is implemented in a simple manner in that the second carrier tape is diverted at a sharp edge and peels off the back of the chip module.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 26, 2004Publication date: October 7, 2004Inventors: Ludger Overmeyer, Peter Giegerich, Michael Deppe

Patent number: 6273366Abstract: A patient transport arrangement is provided in the passenger cabin of an aircraft and includes a patient stretcher, medical supplies and equipment, and a compartment that is variably and adaptably useable as a restroom compartment and as a medical care compartment. The compartment is arranged adjacent to the doorway clearance area in front of the cabin door of the aircraft. The adaptable compartment includes a foldable wall element so that the stretcher can extend at least partially into the compartment during take-off, landing and ground operations of the aircraft while leaving the doorway clearance area unobstructed, and so that the stretcher can be repositioned out of the compartment and into the doorway clearance area during cruise flight so as to allow the compartment to be used as a passenger restroom during the flight. This arrangement makes efficient use of space within the passenger cabin that would otherwise be unused during various phases of flight.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 1999Date of Patent: August 14, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler Aerospace Airbus GmbHInventors: Wilfried Sprenger, Ralf Schliwa, Mikko Gabriel, Michael Deppe, Erich Foucar, Hans Lobentanzer
