Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for supporting large lookup tables on an image processor. One of the methods includes receiving an input kernel program for an image processor having a two-dimensional array of execution lanes, a shift-register array, and a plurality of memory banks. If the kernel program has an instruction that reads a lookup table value for a lookup table partitioned across the plurality of memory banks, the instruction in the kernel program are replaced with a sequence of instructions that, when executed by an execution lane, causes the execution lane to read a first value from a local memory bank and a second value from the local memory bank on behalf of another execution lane belonging to a different group of execution lanes.

Abstract: A system and method that routes special number calls from communications devices, including VoIP communications devices, to an answering point that is selected based on a parameter. A peering network effects parameter-based routing of calls to a pre-assigned answering point, wherein the voice path and the signaling paths are set up simultaneously. A gateway in the peering network is connected to the service provider switch and receives special number calls. The gateway queries a pre-provisioned parameter server that determines call routing information for the particular communications device. The gateway then selects another gateway, or, optionally, a selective router access provider network, based on the routing information and delivers the call thereto. The other gateway or selective router access provider network is connected to a router in the destination network and delivers the call and the call parameters to the router.

Abstract: A synthetic reinforcement fibrous material comprising releasable fibrous units during concrete mixing, where the fibrous units have a main filament element and plurality of integral outward extending subunits, useful as secondary reinforcement material and having a low Young's modulus for a more uniform distribution throughout a cementitious mixture incorporating the fibrous material, and imparts good finishability, strength, improved plastic shrinkage crack control, in also provides improved conformability within cementitious forms, especially within forms comprising bends. Improved cementitious compositions and fiber-reinforced concrete building products incorporating the synthetic fibrous material are also provided, as well as methods for making these materials.

Abstract: A synthetic fiber material made with multipolymer blends which have been fibrillated in oriented film form is provided that is useful as a secondary reinforcement material, which has a low Young's modulus for a more uniform distribution throughout a cementitious mixture incorporating the fiber material, and imparts good finishability, strength, and improved plastic shrinkage crack control, in addition to providing improved conformability within cementitious forms, especially within forms comprising bends equal to or greater than about 45 degrees. Improved cementitious compositions and fiber-reinforced concrete building products incorporating the synthetic fiber materials are also provided, as well as methods for making the synthetic fiber materials.

Abstract: The invention comprises a communication network that includes a plurality of conforming emergency systems, a packet network, and an emergency services network. The emergency services network includes a plurality of response gateways and a plurality of emergency services. Each of the conforming emergency systems facilitates the establishment of a media channel with one of the response gateways. In any one of the conforming emergency systems, responsive to establishing a media channel over the packet network with a response gateway and responsive to an emergency event (e.g., a 9-1-1 call, a 1-1-2 call, etc), the conforming emergency system transmits a retrieval key for the emergency event over the established media channel to the response gateway. The response gateway transmits a query for information corresponding with the retrieval key.
