  • Publication number: 20240027278
Abstract: A monitoring system can implement a method including receiving data characterizing first measurements recorded by a sensor in a heating area, second measurements recorded by the sensor in an ambient area, and third measurements recorded by the sensor in a central area, located between the heating area and the ambient area. The method further includes determining a first average temperature, a second average temperature, and a third average temperature. The method further includes computing a first temperature difference between the first average temperature in the heating area and the third average temperature in the central area, and a second temperature difference between second average temperature in the ambient area and the third average temperature of the central area. The method further includes providing the first temperature difference and the second temperature difference.

  • Publication number: 20230309162
Abstract: A method of establishing a communication channel includes receiving sensor data characterizing measurements associated with a target object. The method includes determining, based on the sensor data, an objective from a plurality of predefined objectives for monitoring the target object. The method includes computing, based on the determined objective, a communication channel associated with the target object. The method includes providing the communication channel. Related apparatus, systems, techniques, and articles are also described.

  • Publication number: 20230270083
Abstract: A method of monitoring water tank includes receiving a temperature data set, a water conductivity data set, and a water level data set, characterizing measurements of a plurality of characteristic properties of water within a water tank by a sensor operatively arranged within the water tank. The method further includes determining a first rule characterizing environmental requirements of the water arranged within the water tank. The method further includes generating an output data set based on the received data sets and the first rule. The method further includes providing the generated output data set. Related apparatus, systems, techniques, and articles are also described.

  • Publication number: 20210248568
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a server, data characterizing a measurement of a characteristic property of a first target by a sensor operatively coupled to the first target object. An object monitoring system includes the server and the sensor. The method further includes generating, by the server, a recommendation for a user of the first target object based on the received data and data characterizing a result associated with an implementation of a previous recommendation on the first target object. The generating includes application of recommendation rules associated with one or more of the first target object and a target object group that includes the first target object. The method further includes transmitting the generated recommendation.

  • Patent number: 10568034
Abstract: Sensor data characterizing an event associated with a movable object is received. Based on the sensor data, an objective from a plurality of predefined objectives for monitoring the movable object is selected. A series of operational states having increasing power requirement levels is transitioned through. At each operational state, whether the selected objective is achievable using a respective method associated with the respective operational state and respective power requirement level is determined. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 9940804
Abstract: The invention integrates hardware and software for sensing, communications, data storage and control into a protection module that is sufficiently small and inexpensive to be attached directly to individual objects, such as musical instruments, and the inventory of stores and museums. Sensors monitor environmental factors, such as temperature and humidity, and accelerometers alert owners to unwanted motion, such as theft or misuse. Sensed data is stored locally and transmitted wirelessly to nonproprietary data receivers, such as smart phones or tablets that generate alerts. In some embodiments the data is forwarded to cloud servers for storage and analysis. Bluetooth communication between the attached module and the data receiver allows large spaces, such as stores and showrooms containing many attached modules to be protected. In some embodiments accelerometers enable finger-tap-controlled recording of musical performance and tuning of the instrument relative to tonal frequencies stored in the module.
