  • Patent number: 7234135
Abstract: A method for processing data in a data processing system (1) which includes a number of data processing units (2), and operator and observation units (4), which are interconnected by way of a data transmission unit (6), whereby a respective data processing program (8) with corresponding function modules (FB1 to FBn) and data modules (DB 1 to DBn) is implemented in the data processing units (2). At least one identifier (K, KE, KI) for the function modules and data modules is stored in a respective conversion table (10) belonging to each data processing unit (2). When an external data processing unit (2) accesses a data module (DB1 to DBn) and/or a function module (FB1 to FBn) of another data processing unit (2), a conversion table (10) mediates by using an external identifier (KE) that characterizes the access and verifies whether a matching internal identifier (KI) is stored for the particular external identifier (KE).

  • Patent number: 7035557
Abstract: A method for correction of the calibration of the register mark accurately and/or register accurate printing process of an electrophotographic printing unit, preferably of a color-printing unit. Large surface toner fields are placed on a conveyor belt for the substrate to be printed, particularly in the larger spaces between the substrate sheets to be printed. The influence of a toner field placed on a conveyor belt for print substrate sheets on the register mark and/or registration of the printing process is identified, and such influence is expressed in the form of at least one correction value or parameter suitable for the correction of the calibration.

  • Patent number: 6925278
Abstract: Ensuring proper compass and register positioning during printing. Marks are imprinted on a carrying element and at least one sensor is present to detect the marks on the carrying element and a second sensor detects a seam on the carrying element. A control mechanism receives mark values from the first sensor and seam values from the second sensor, and discarding mark values when the seam is detected.

  • Publication number: 20040231537
Abstract: Avoiding eccentricity for a shaft, with a balance error, on which a hollow cylinder is applied, the hollow cylinder serving to compensate for the balance error of the shaft. A first mark on the hollow cylinder has a location on the hollow cylinder with a certain thickness of the hollow cylinder, and a second mark on the surface of the shaft has a location on the shaft with a certain radius with respect to the axial center of gravity of the shaft are aligned.

  • Patent number: 6718879
Abstract: Determining and correcting registration errors, which are caused by the rotational speed of a print cylinder changing because of a sheet passing between the print cylinder and a sheet transport conveyor belt. At least one first registration mark is applied onto the conveyor belt prior to a sheet being transported thereby, and at least one second registration mark is applied onto the conveyor belt after the transported sheet. By the detection of the first registration mark and the second registration mark, a calculation of a timing number between the detection of the first registration mark and the second registration mark can be made. The calculated timing number is compared to a target value to determine any error due to change in angular velocity of the print cylinder due to engagement with the sheet.

  • Patent number: 6619209
Abstract: A process and printing machine for determining registration errors and correcting therefore. At least one first registration mark is applied onto a conveyor belt for transporting a sheet, and at least one second registration mark is applied onto the sheet adjacent to the first registration mark. The first registration mark and the second registration mark are detected, the distance between the first registration mark and the second registration mark is calculated, and the difference between the calculated distance and a distance without different speeds of the conveyor belt and the sheet (a target value) is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20020025423
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a composite article includes applying at least one resin impregnated fiber sheet to an inner surface of a forming mold, applying a predetermined mass of a syntactic foam mixture on at least a portion of the resin impregnated fiber sheets, closing the forming mold and heating the mold, the resin impregnated fiber sheets and the syntactic foam mixture to a predetermined temperature for a time sufficient to fully cure the resin impregnated fiber sheet and the syntactic foam to form the composite article. The syntactic foam mixture is formulated so that during the cure cycle, the syntactic foam gels, expands, and starts to cure before the resin impregnated fiber sheets of the outer shell. The expansion of the inner core of syntactic foam forces the fiber sheets of the shell against the inner surface of the mold to accurately reproduce the mold contours.

  • Patent number: 5367856
Abstract: The present invention provides a container suitable for pressurized non-flowable consumer goods such as refrigeratable bread doughs and the like. In a first embodiment, the container includes a removable lid, a shell having sidewalls, and a piston plate. The bottom of the container includes an access port therethrough to permit access to the piston plate, which may be urged upwardly to remove product from the container. In a second embodiment, the container includes a removable lid, a shell having sidewalls and a bottom, and a removable liner. The liner may include manually graspable flanges and a stirrup extending beneath the product. The product may be removed from the container by grasping the flanges of the liner and withdrawing the liner and the product through the open top of the shell.
