  • Patent number: 6802441
Abstract: A piggyback carrier designed for the safe and economical transporting of a container piggybacked to the back or front of a vehicle. Specifically, the piggyback is designed to be attached to the container and to support the container during transportation. The piggyback carrier can be adjusted and may be fitted to most vehicles having conventional type hitches. A left and a right jack is removably attached to each side of the frame of the carrier to enable one man to jack up a heavy cargo, roll it to the vehicle and mount the frame to the hitch on the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6804226
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for allowing the copper pair at each subscriber site to reappear at the CO. It also provides inter-connectivity between subscribers within a specified proximity, thereby allowing the subscribers to operate as a LAN. By placing a router between various Distributed Point of Presence Local Area Networks (DPOPLAN) and service provider that offer services such as Internet access, a large communication can easily be created.

  • Patent number: 6417947
Abstract: A free space light multibeam network bridge apparatus receives free space light beam communication signals from free space light communication devices and routes the free space light beam communication signals to other free space light communication devices via a free space light network or to non-free space light destination devices via a telecommunications network. The free space light multibeam network bridge apparatus identifies the source of a free space light beam communication signal based on the position of the free space light beam communication signal on a sensor.

  • Patent number: 5778672
Abstract: A two stage brake valve communicates fluid pressure to a brake mechanism. The brake valve has an inlet for receiving pressurized brake fluid from a pump, a reservoir port, a stepped bore and a stepped piston member comprising a larger diameter prefill piston and a smaller diameter high pressure piston. The stepped bore and the stepped piston form a high volume prefill chamber and a high pressure chamber. The high pressure piston has a metering groove which controls communication between the inlet and the brake mechanism. A bleed orifice is formed in the high pressure piston and communicates the high pressure chamber to an outer surface of the high pressure piston. The bleed orifice includes an annular bleed groove formed in an outer surface of the high pressure piston and a radial passage extending from the bleed groove to an interior of the high pressure piston.
