A method includes providing a software library that is includable in a web-based enterprise management (WBEM) application. The instructions are also executable to bind a technology-agnostic WBEM command to one or more in a first management protocol. The instructions are further executable to bind the technology-agnostic WBEM command to one or more commands in a second management protocol that is different from the first management protocol.
