A separate, removable, food serving dish is disposed within the receptacle. The assembly optionally includes a demountable lid and one or more removable ice packs.

Abstract: Provided is a food serving assembly composed of a dual purpose insulating receptacle having the general shape of a serving dish with a flat bottom and upwardly extending side walls. The receptacle is composed of an interior thermoplastic shell and an exterior thermoplastic shell sealed to each other about the edges to form an interior chamber. The interior chamber of the receptacle contains a laminate composed of one or more layers of a reflective material and one or more layers of an open or closed cell foam. A food serving dish is disposed within the receptacle. The assembly may additionally include a demountable lid composed of plastic and a removable lid cover preferably composed of a foam material. The food serving dish may be composed of glass or of plastic, or of stoneware, or a high-temperature plastic. Abstract: A humidifier has a first sealable reservoir feeding water to a second reservoir communicating with ambient atmosphere. A blower is adapted to blow a stream of air through the humidifier to ambient atmosphere, such that the stream of air picks up water vapor from any water that may be in the second reservoir. A feeder valve feeds a quickly-evaporable quantity of water from the first reservoir into the second reservoir. The quickly-evaporable quantity of water in the second reservoir is substantially smaller than the water capacity of the first reservoir. A dry-out mechanism shuts off the feeder valve upon a user command and continues to run the blower at least until the quickly-evaporable quantity of water has evaporated to an extent effective in inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in the microorganism-vulnerable reservoir.

Abstract: A basketball backboard aiming device. The device includes a backboard member for attachment to a standard basketball hoop. The backboard has a front, planar surface. A linear array of indicia are disposed along the backboard, the array including a plurality of individual targets. Each of the targets is selectively viewable by a shooter disposed along a unique axis forming a preselected angle with respect to the plane of the backboard. One side of the angle is defined by a line of sight extending from the shooter to the target and the second side by the plane of the backboard. The selectively viewable target provides an aiming point for a shooter disposed anywhere along the line of sight when said player attempts a bank shot.
