  • Patent number: 11952221
Abstract: The dynamic package sortation device includes a track for handling a plurality of packages is provided. At least one conveyor extends away from the track towards at least two shipping containers. The at least one conveyor is extendable and retractable for dispensing the packages into a first shipping container of the at least two shipping containers and a second condition for dispensing the packages into a second shipping container of the at least two shipping containers. A controller is provided for providing an instruction to move the at least one conveyor between the first condition and the second condition based on a trigger.

  • Patent number: 11938326
Abstract: Implantable medical systems enter an exposure mode of operation, either manually via a down linked programming instruction or by automatic detection by the implantable system of exposure to a magnetic disturbance. A controller then determines the appropriate exposure mode by considering various pieces of information including the device type including whether the device has defibrillation capability, pre-exposure mode of therapy including which chambers have been paced, and pre-exposure cardiac activity that is either intrinsic or paced rates. Additional considerations may include determining whether a sensed rate during the exposure mode is physiologic or artificially produced by the magnetic disturbance. When the sensed rate is physiologic, then the controller uses the sensed rate to trigger pacing and otherwise uses asynchronous pacing at a fixed rate.

  • Patent number: 4761878
Abstract: An electrical connector for supplying electrical power to a machine at particular voltage and phase magnitudes selected, the connector having one part adapted to be mechanically and electrically connected to the machine and another part adapted to be electrically connected to a conductor providing the electrical power to be supplied. The connector comprises a plurality of pins on one of the connector parts and a corresponding plurality of mating slots on the other of the connector parts adapted to receive the pins when the connector parts are connected together. One of the pins and the corresponding one of the mating slots serve to complete an electrical ground circuit and have a fixed orientation independent of the selected voltage and phase magnitude for the particular connector.

  • Patent number: 4611798
Abstract: A cloth spreading apparatus for spreading superimposed layers of cloth on a plurality of tables which are connected together side-by-side, the superimposed layers of cloth being in correct alignment with each other. The apparatus includes a cloth laying machine supported on the working surface of the tables for side-to-side traversing movement. As the machine moves from side to side, it will deposit a plurality of superimposed layers of cloth on the tables. The cloth laying machine includes a frame having a front portion normally disposed adjacent a front edge of the tables. The apparatus further includes guide means for guiding the cloth laying machine. The guide means includes a plurality of cylindrical rods, dowels which align the guide rods in end-to-end relationship, and a rail assembly which is rigidly interconnected with the guide rods and with front legs of the tables.

  • Patent number: 4306356
Abstract: A punching machine comprising a housing, a plunger having a punch at one end, and an electromechanical drive such as a solenoid carried by the housing and operatively connected to the plunger for driving the plunger in a direction along the longitudinal axis thereof when electrically energized to drive the punch into a workpiece and then withdraw the punch therefrom. The plunger is disposed in a housing passage in a manner permitting a degree of rocking movement of the plunger in a plane substantially parallel to the plunger longitudinal axis. A flexible guiding device in the form of a sleeve surrounding the plunger and an O-ring engaging the sleeve and the housing guides the plunger in a direction toward and away from the workpiece and also in the direction of the rocking movement. Electric current is supplied to the electromechanical drive by a circuit including a controlled rectifier connected in controlling relation to the drive and having a gate terminal connected to trigger pulse producing device.
