Patent number: 11783000Abstract: A system and method for an interactive knowledge exploration system is described. The example embodiments allow a subject matter guide to create and curate exploration spaces where users can engage in discovery sessions to learn information about a variety of topics. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving data from a subject matter guide for a data collection associated with a first exploration space. The method also includes processing and parsing the received data into a plurality of proposed subjects for the first exploration space, where each proposed subject is associated with a plurality of data blocks. The method further includes receiving edits to the proposed subjects, including edits to one or more groupings of data blocks of the plurality of data blocks for the proposed subjects, and publishing the first exploration space to make the first exploration space available to the users of the interactive knowledge exploration system.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2023Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: KNOW SYSTEMS CORP.Inventor: Michael E. Patent number: 11582424Abstract: A system and method for an interactive digitally rendered avatar of a subject person to participate in a web meeting is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving an invite to a web meeting on a video conferencing platform, wherein the invite identifies a subject person and the video conferencing platform. The method also includes generating an interactive avatar of the subject person based on a data collection associated with the subject person stored in a database. The method further includes instantiating a platform integrator associated with the video conferencing platform identified in the invite and joining, by the interactive avatar of the subject person, the web meeting on the video conferencing platform. The platform integrator transforms outputs and inputs between the video conferencing platform and an interactive digitally rendered avatar system so that the interactive avatar of the subject person participates in the web meeting.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2022Date of Patent: February 14, 2023Assignee: KNOW SYSTEMS CORP.Inventor: Michael E. Patent number: 10286804Abstract: A system for employing gravity to provide electrical power for mining operations in a mine includes a battery configured to power an electric vehicle. The vehicle includes a kinetic energy capture system that can charge the battery as the vehicle conveys a loaded vehicle down a ramp from an ore face to a chamber. Traveling down the ramp produces a surplus charge in the battery due to a weight differential between a loaded vehicle traveling down a ramp producing more energy via the kinetic energy capture system than energy used by the vehicle to convey the empty vehicle up the ramp to the ore face. A discharging device disposed in the chamber is configured to discharge the surplus energy out of the battery and into the mine's power grid. One or multiple trips between the ore face and the chamber may fully charge the battery.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2018Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Artisan Vehicle Systems Inc.Inventors: Brian R.
