Publication number: 20220417031Abstract: A public-private key cryptographic scheme is described for granting authenticating a client to a remote device or service in order to access a secure resource. The client is provided the public key, but the private key is stored in a hardware security module (HSM) that the client is not able to access. The client requests a digital signature be generated from the private key from a secure vault service. The secure vault service accesses the HSM and generates the digital certificate, which is then passed to the client. The digital certificate may be added to a security token request submitted to an identity provider. The identity provider determines whether the digital signature came from the private key.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2022Publication date: December 29, 2022Inventors: Mayukh RAY, Tolga ACAR, Timothy Michael PETERS

Publication number: 20210365453Abstract: Data investigations are performed by querying a plurality of data sources. A system receives an investigation input and queries a plurality of data sources in accordance with the received input. The system receives, in response to the querying, response data from the plurality of data sources, and generates and stores a data structure representing relationships between the first investigation input and the first response data. The data structure may be in the form of a knowledge graph. The system may generate and display a visualization of the data structure. The system may generate and store a record of investigation steps used to generate the data structure, such that the investigation steps may be applied in future instances, for example using different inputs, to generate new data structures.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2020Publication date: November 25, 2021Applicant: NOBLIS, INC.Inventors: Kyle Nicolas FORSYTH, Mark Jason SANDERS, Adam Keith KOROBOW, Eric Richard MCCABE, Mychal William IVANCICH, David Michael PETERS, Cody Steven JENKINS

Publication number: 20210156388Abstract: A disclosed method of determining operating states of a fan uses a digital image of the fan and at least one operating parameter-specific algorithm. In a first stage, the method includes generating the digital image of the fan as a representation of the fan's properties, the representation based on one or more mathematical calculation models and optionally known data. The method further includes generating the at least one operating parameter-specific algorithm based on at least one of known relationships and characteristic curves, and calculating component states of the fan via the digital image, wherein the calculation of component states is based on virtual sensors. The method further includes generating a system behavior algorithm that calculates operating parameters of the fan based on the component states and optionally generates predictions relating to the operation of the fan.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 4, 2019Publication date: May 27, 2021Inventors: Bjoern WENGER, Matthias KAMMERER, Xenia GAIDA, Joachim KNORR, Raphael OBST, Michael PETERS, Dominik SCHUEBEL, David KAPPEL

Publication number: 20140211267Abstract: An embodiment implements a methodology for printing non-saturated text and lines in a way that removes the jagged edge problem. An embodiment uses a combination of two screens, e.g. AM screening and applying pure color. For example, according to the embodiment, the closer to the edge from the interior of text or lines, the less amplitude modulation half toning is applied and the more actual color or contone is applied. A particular algorithm for determining and using a blending parameter is provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2013Publication date: July 31, 2014Applicant: ELECTRONICS FOR IMAGING, INC.Inventors: Michael PETERS, Leon WILLIAMS
