  • Publication number: 20150070168
Abstract: The Guitar alarm comprises of a fob and a receiver. The fob is a portable wireless device while the receiver is fixed to the Guitar. Both the fob and the receiver are made up of rigid plastic with the electrical components enclosed. At present the system provides three function options: 1: Proximity Detection—when a preset distance between the fob and the receiver is exceeded, the system will trigger an alarm on both the fob and receiver. 2: Movement Detection—when the Guitar is disturbed, the system will trigger an alarm on both the fob and receiver. 3: Both functions can operate simultaneously. As the alarm alerts the user of the possible theft or disturbance of the Guitar, it also forces the thief to abandon the Guitar.

  • Patent number: 7457640
Abstract: A dielectric-based RF device such as a tower mounted amplifier (TMA), mast-head amplifier (MHA), or Tower Mounted Boosters (TMB) includes a housing having a plurality of cavities and an input and an output, the input being coupled to the antenna and the output being coupled to a base station. The housing includes a transmission path with a transmit filter. The housing further includes a receive path with at least one receive filter and a low noise amplifier. The receive filter includes a plurality of cavities with a dielectric-based resonator disposed in at least some of the plurality of cavities. In one aspect, the RF device has a volume of less than about 155 in3. The RF device including the dielectric-based resonators has excellent out-of-band signal rejection with low loss. In addition, the RF device described herein is small enough to mount close to the antenna. • Publication number: 20080007228
Abstract: An improved regulator system is disclosed for controlling a field winding of an alternator to regulate the charging of a battery. The improved regulator system comprises an internal regulator mounted onto the alternator. The internal regulator has an internal regulator control circuit for monitoring the battery and for controlling the field winding. An electrical connector actuates the internal regulator to regulate the output of the alternator in accordance with the internal regulator. The electrical connector enables an external regulator to be connected to the alternator thereby bypassing the internal regulator to regulate the output of the alternator in accordance with the external regulator. The improved regulator system facilitates the connection of an upgrade external regulator with the internal regulator functioning as a reserve regulator in the remote event of a malfunction of the external regulator.
