  • Publication number: 20200015438
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless programmable irrigation valve that has an electrical circuit with a microprocessor, CPU and/or a microcontroller with a data memory bank that can store watering program or schedule software instructions. The wireless irrigation valve is powered by a battery or super capacitor with electric generator. The wireless programmable irrigation valve does not need to be controlled by a local controller. The wireless programmable irrigation valve is programmed using a APP on a cell phone, smart phones, mobile phone or similar apparatus or computer, and when software instructions are transmitted to the wireless programmable irrigation valve, the wireless programmable irrigation valve independently controls its valve on and off. Once the software instructions are transmitted to the wireless programmable irrigation valve, the wireless programmable irrigation valve performs the programmed water scheduled instructions independently.

  • Publication number: 20190332990
Abstract: A business method of reimbursing water meter companies for the costs involved in installing smart or advanced water meters. The method includes that the water meter company negotiates with water municipalities/utilities to become responsible for the water use billing operations. In addition, some smart water meters will be able to alert property owners and users of leak conditions, which can be addressed by remote or automated water control. Furthermore, some smart water meters can include consumable or non-consumable water quality sensors and the replacement of the water quality sensors can be managed by the water company. The water meter company can provide service and maintenance for advanced or smart water meters such as software updates, battery replacements, and replacement of expired or nonfunction components. Furthermore, insurance companies have an interest in providing rebates or discounts to support the use of the smart water meters preventing leak and leak damage.

  • Patent number: 10410501
Abstract: The present invention is a water meter and leak detection system that has a residential or industrial/commercial facility water supply interruption system. The system is comprised of a remotely controllable base station with shut-off/on mechanism that is in wireless or wired (X10, Zwave, UPB) communication with a convenient controller. The base station with shut-off/on mechanism is interposed within a water line from a water main to the living or operating quarters portion of a residential or an industrial/commercial facility or building, such that activation of the base station with shut-off/on valve operates to prevent flow of water from the water main to the living quarters when the residential home or industrial/commercial facility or building is vacated or unsupervised. In this manner, damage to the living quarters or the industrial/commercial facility or building from failure of water pipes running through the living or working quarters is prevented during times that the shut-off mechanism is activated.

  • Publication number: 20170145669
Abstract: The present invention is a system that recycles shower water to promote water conservation. The system comprises a plurality water valves for opening and closing water lines, sensors for temperature and presence of soap/shampoo/conditioner in the water, a heater, a filter means, and a control center. This system has the capability to monitor when the water is clean and then channels water to be recycled and supplemented with heating, filtering, and a percentage of fresh hot and cold (ambient) water. The control center continuously monitors the water for cleanliness or contaminated with soap products and can switch between a recycle mode and a non-recycle mode. The temperature sensor monitors the recycle water temperature and activates a heater to increase the temperature if needed.
