  • Publication number: 20250287560
Abstract: Various embodiments include a method for parameterizing an electronics production line using device parameters of a reference production line. The electronics production lines each include: a device to apply joining material to component carriers, a placement device to place electronic components onto the component carriers, a joining device to connect the electronic components to the component carriers, and a transport system to transport the component carriers through the devices. An example method includes: parameterizing the devices of the production line using parameters of the reference line; ascertaining actual parameter values in a limited region around the transport system; and ascertaining deviations between the actual process parameter values and reference process parameter values. The reference process parameter values have been acquired in a limited region around the transport system of the reference production line.

  • Publication number: 20250276513
Abstract: For determining optimized parameter values of a mask-printing process, a quality value for the substrate is determined in a testing process following the printing operation, and an image of the upper side of the template is generated. A relationship between the parameter, the quality value and the template image are ascertained, and the relationship is used to determine an optimized value for the parameter. In the printing operation, the optimized value is set, and the printing process is monitored by using the respective template image, dispensing with the need for the testing process.

  • Patent number: 7353316
Abstract: A plurality of memory modules used in a computer system each include a memory hub that is connected to a plurality of memory devices. The memory modules are connected to each other in series so that signals are coupled between the memory modules and the memory hub controller through any intervening memory modules. The signals are coupled to and from the memory modules through high-speed bit-lanes. In the a bit-lane connected to any of the memory hubs is inoperative, the memory hub re-routes signals that would be coupled through the inoperative bit-lane to an adjacent bit lane. When the signal reaches a memory hub in which the bit-lane is no longer inoperative, the memory hub routes the signal back to the original bit lane. In this manner, multiple bit-lane failures can be accommodated using a signal extra bit-lane.

  • Patent number: 6032178
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for operating a bus system having at least one master unit and at least one slave unit, having a bus and a bus control unit for the bus arbitration and for controlling the data transfer. The data transmission is split into a request data transfer and a response data transfer, and, in the time between the request data transfer and the response data transfer, the bus is cleared for the data transmissions of other master units in a first data transmission configuration, or the bus is blocked between the request data transfer and the response data transfer, in a second data transmission configuration and slave units. In the case of a response transfer, the master and slave are changed round.
