  • Patent number: 11366652
Abstract: The functionality offered through a game development application can be extended using a plurality of extension modules. A customer portal can expose information about the available modules to a developer, where the extension modules can include components such as a customer interface enabling an authorized entity to access or modify the functionality, as well as an application programming interface (API) or other interface for enabling the functionality to be accessed during gameplay. The API can be associated with various resources that can be allocated to the customer over a period of time, or that can be allocated dynamically in order to process discrete tasks. The allocation of resources can occur after release of the game and during live gameplay. Similar functionality can be accessed by a game administrator to trigger specific actions during gameplay.

  • Patent number: 10642580
Abstract: Techniques for simplifying and reusing visual programming graphs are described herein. In some examples, visual programming graphs may be simplified by decoupling execution signals from data resolution. Execution of a particular node may be triggered through a representation of a signal sent from a signal output slot of another node to a signal input slot on the node being triggered. Additionally, evaluation of data values may be represented by a connection between a data output slot on the node providing the data value to a data input slot on the node receiving the data value. Another technique for simplifying visual programming graphs may include combining and/or collapsing of multiple selected visual programming nodes into a single reusable visual programming node. In some examples, reusable combined visual programming nodes may be exposed using unlocked versions and/or locked versions.

  • Patent number: 10115149
Abstract: A virtual world e-commerce platform enables creation of virtual worlds that allow users to explore virtual scenes populated with virtual objects. During this exploration, the users may identify physical items of interest for purchase, which the users may access at least partly via the virtual world. For example, when a user finds a virtual object that the user desires, the user may select that virtual object or otherwise interact with the virtual object to engage in an e-commerce transaction to consume a corresponding real-world item. The item may be physical item that is shipped to the user, a digital item, a service, and/or other types of consumable items. In some embodiments, the user may be able to consume the item within the virtual world. Virtual content may be tagged, which may allow associations to other virtual content and/or to real-world items.

  • Publication number: 20090254631
Abstract: A system and a method may be provided. The system may include a server and one or more user processing devices. The user processing devices may execute an application, such as, for example, a browser. Via the application, a user may define clippable sections of a network document without executing any scripts. The defined clippable sections may be stored on a user processing device or on a server. When viewing a network document, a user may select a portion of the network document corresponding to a defined clippable section to cause corresponding content to be saved to a list. The list may be stored on the user processing device or on the server. When the list is stored on the server, the list may be made shareable with other users.

  • Patent number: 7155444
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and methodology to facilitate interoperability and compatibility between disparate data systems. In one aspect, a file transformation system is provided having at least one file associated with one or more unstructured properties. A file property handler manipulates the unstructured properties in accordance with one or more structured properties associated with a structured object store environment. If an unstructured file is to be operated in the context of a structured object store environment, a promotion operation is performed to update unstructured properties in the file with structured properties suitable for operation in the structured object store environment. If a promoted item were to be manipulated in the structured object store environment, a demotion operation or reverse transformation is performed to update properties in the file.
