  • Patent number: 11129951
Abstract: A medical vaporizer includes a liquid drug reservoir configured to receive and hold a liquid drug. A low power graphical display is configured to intermittently receive power. The low power graphical display is operable to visually present information and maintain the visual presentation of information in the absence of power. A controller is configured to intermittently receive power and upon receiving power the controller operates to determine a status of a medical vaporizer. The controller operates the low power graphical display to present the status of the medical vaporizer as visually presented information.

  • Patent number: 8867031
Abstract: An anesthetic vaporizer system is disclosed herein. The anesthetic vaporizer system may include a sump adapted to retain an anesthetic agent. The anesthetic vaporizer system may also include a level sensor disposed at least partially within the sump. The level sensor is configured to generate an optical beam, and to estimate the amount of anesthetic agent within the sump based on a measured characteristic of the optical beam.

  • Publication number: 20120318263
Abstract: An anesthetic vaporizer system is disclosed herein. The anesthetic vaporizer system includes a pump, and a controller operatively connected to the pump. The controller is configured to generally simultaneously control both a frequency and a stroke of the pump in order to regulate the delivery of an anesthetic agent in the liquid phase. The anesthetic vaporizer system also includes a vaporization chamber in fluid communication with the pump. The vaporization chamber is adapted to vaporize the anesthetic agent delivered by the pump.
