  • Publication number: 20240074907
Abstract: Devices and methods for wound treatment are disclosed. A chamber may define a treatment space having an interior engineered surface including a plurality of structures configured to provide pathways for the distribution of negative pressure and to exert mechanical stress on a wound. One or more tubes may be in fluid communication with the treatment space to facilitate the application of negative pressure, the introduction of therapeutic agents, and the removal of wound material. Therapeutic agents may be formulated with a gel, for example, a hydrogel, a hydrocolloid, alginate, methyl cellulose, gelatin or any other gels for sustained-release and enhanced usability. • Patent number: 11601847
Abstract: A method performed by an agent for handling an event of a network service deployed in a cloud environment is provided. The agent is capable to access to a server in the cloud environment. The agent obtains information from the server. The information is about an event of the network service. When the network service relates to a Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) network, the agent decides whether to register network service with or without an associated address of a load balancer of the network service. The agent then registers in a core network node operating in the 3GPP network, the network service with or without an associated address of a load balancer of the network service according to the event and according to the outcome of the deciding.

  • Patent number: 10143001
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a Multipath Transmission Control Protocol (MPTCP) scheduler which is scheduling a TCP flow between a first peer and an MPTCP capable second peer. The method comprises setting up the TCP flow comprising at least two sub-flows connecting the MPTCP capable second peer, each sub-flow being associated with an address for the MPTCP capable second peer. The method also comprises receiving external information relating to at least one of the at least two sub-flows. The method also comprises scheduling data in the TCP flow based on the received external information, wherein the scheduling comprises choosing which sub-flow or sub-flows of the at least two sub-flows to schedule the data via, based on the received external information. The present disclosure also relates to an MPTCP scheduler as well as an MPTCP proxy and an MPTCP capable peer comprising such a scheduler.

  • Publication number: 20180097904
Abstract: A method and apparatus for addressing a message sent from a proxy node to a peer node in a communications network. The proxy node receives from a host node a plurality of multipath messages. Each message of the plurality of multipath messages has an address. The proxy node then applies a rule to assign an address for a single flow message towards the peer node, and assigns a new address for the single flow message towards the peer node, the assigned new address not being used for any of the plurality of multipath messages; and. The single flow message comprises each message of the plurality of multipath messages. The single flow message is then sent towards the peer node.

  • Patent number: 9573701
Abstract: A method of docking and recharging using a base station and a station-mating frame on the multicopter. The base station includes an upward-facing camera that is used by a docking controller to detect the presence, position, and orientation of a frame, with infrared light-emitting diodes arranged in a predefined pattern. The controller of the base station acts to emit wireless signals to the multicopter to guide the multicopter with its station-mating frame to a predefined position above the base station. The controller transmits a wireless signal to the multicopter to reduce thrust, and the multicopter lowers itself onto a sloped receiving surface that may be arranged in a crown pattern to provide passive gravity-driven centering, which causes the station-mating frame to slide to a lowest vertical point of the receiving assembly. A locking mechanism engages to lock the frame in place and provide electrical contact for recharging.

  • Patent number: 6356543
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed whereby a mobile phone user can select one or more service preferences for the mobile phone from a simulated mobile phone display on an Internet web page. The user can access the web page from a personal or business computer. Once the selection has been made, the user can save the preferences to a server in the mobile phone network. The server contains (or provides links to) the full complement of services that are available for selection. The selected services' applications are downloaded from the server to the mobile phone (via the network) either immediately (if a network connection is already made) or the next time the phone is turned on. Consequently, the user can readily obtain the services desired, and also customize the display and “look and feel” of the mobile phone.
