A rim of the meat tray is located at a terminus of the angled outer transition and extends away from the cavity. The rim may include an outer arcuate rim portion that extends and curves away from the outer transition and a planar flange extending from the outer arcuate rim portion and terminates at an edge. The edge faces downwardly with respect to the outer arcuate rim portion.
