  • Patent number: 10256555
Abstract: An electrical distribution center includes a housing, an electronic device, an upper fixing member, a printed circuit board (PCB), a lower fixing member and a connector. The upper fixing member has a first inserting hole. Pin terminals of the electronic device pass through the first inserting hole and are connected to the PCB. A connector mounting slot for fixing the connector is arranged on the lower fixing member. A second inserting hole and a guide rod member are arranged in the connector mounting slot. A TPA member is sheathed on the guide rod member. The TPA member has a third inserting hole. Pin terminals of the connector pass through the third inserting hole and the second inserting hole and are fixed in the connector mounting slot with the TPA member. The pin terminals of the connector are connected to the PCB after passing through the first inserting hole.

  • Patent number: 10021797
Abstract: A mounting-bracket configured to attach to a mounting-surface includes a base and sides, a retainer, an electrical-assembly, and a blocking-device. The mounting-surface defines a mounting-hole. The base and sides define a cavity. The base includes a retention-device that extends through the mounting-hole. The retention-device has an inner-surface and an outer-surface. The inner-surface defines an aperture and the outer-surface includes locking-tabs. The retainer is received within the aperture of the retention-device. The retainer has an end and walls generally perpendicular to the end. The walls are in direct contact with the inner-surface and prevent an inward-flexure of the locking-tabs. The electrical-assembly has a lower-surface that is received within the cavity. The blocking-device is in direct contact with the lower-surface of the electrical-assembly and the end of the retainer, thereby preventing a removal of the retainer from the aperture when the electrical-assembly is received within the cavity.

  • Patent number: 9692153
Abstract: A connector system is described herein. The connector system includes cam lever devices to assist the mating of the connector bodies of the connector system to one another. The handles of the cam lever devices are movable from an extended position that provides increased leverage to a retracted position that can be used to stow the handles after the connector bodies of the connector system have been successfully mated. A method of assembling such a connector system is also described herein.

  • Patent number: 8488303
Abstract: An electrical distribution center includes a housing composed of a first material having a first melting point, an electrical bus disposed in the housing, a removable electrical/electronic component electrically connected to the electrical bus and which produces a predetermined temperature in operation higher than the first melting point, an opening formed in the housing, and a socket mounted within the housing opening and physically supporting the electrical/electronic component. The socket is composed of a second, differing material having a second melting point higher than the predetermined temperature produced by the electrical/electronic component in operation, whereby the housing is effectively isolated and protected by the socket as the electrical/electronic component operates.

  • Patent number: 8267702
Abstract: An electrical distribution center assembly includes a housing having a connector shroud. The shroud defines a shroud cavity adapted for receiving a mating electrical connector body. A blade stabilizer is formed integral with the shroud in a first position within the shroud cavity. The blade stabilizer has blade apertures formed therein. Bladed terminals extend from the housing into the blade apertures. In this position, the blade stabilizer protects the terminal blades from being bent away from a terminal axis. The blade stabilizer is movable to a second position to enable female terminals of the mating electrical connector to electrically connect to the blade terminals.
